It's from an archaeological excavation in Tilburg, the Netherlands, carried out two years ago. I sampled the sandy soils in order to understand the development of the landscape and the human activities there: so the medieval people living near the church smelted iron, ate shellfish and tossed the shells, and burnt some wood!
