after school stroll
During most days, the end of classes meant for Terra that he would usually have to meet with his gang and work to ensure their safety that day and onto the night, which left him to sleep during the class the next day. However, there were days when Terra got off lucky with his gang and was thus capable of avoiding nightly activities with them. Those days, Terra usually spent his time visiting that old orphanage of his, making sure he kept up with the new arrivals, helping out all he could.
Today was a different kind of day though, where instead he decided to go meet his “little sister” at her school, a girl by the name of Hakuno Kishinami. Having been adopted into her family, Terra had since taken her under his wing, though to the chagrin of his parents when he had finally moved out on his own. However, Terra still kept in touch with them, especially with Hakuno. Today was one of those days.
“Hakuno!”
He gave her a wave, leaning against the gate as he did. Stepping away from it, he came over to greet her, giving her a pat on the head.
“Well I’ve got nothing better to do, my classes are done for the day and my schedule cleared up. So I wanted to see how you were doing. Haven’t talked to you in a while. Mind a little company?”
Ah, so today he was finally free! Hakuno smiled happily at the pat, almost like a little puppy so happy to see its owner come home. “Of course! You don’t need to ask.” It’s been so rare to see Terra regardless so if he wants to hang out with her, Hakuno would change her plans in order to make room for him. Beside, she knows that he would probably feel a little dejected from not being able to spend time with Hakuno.
But what can they do?
“I was actually planning on doing some grocery shopping, if you don’t mind staying late, I can cook you dinner before you go home.” Hakuno knows very well that Terra was busy with something, something that she wasn’t aware of. She had no idea what he could be doing but she doesn’t pry at it. If he doesn’t want to tell her, that’s fine. Hakuno trust Terra not to do anything stupid...at least that’s what she tells her mind. She grew up with Terra, she knows fully well that he will do something idiotic.
“Does that sound like a plan? Oh, we could also finally finish that chapter in the game we played last time!” She was already making his schedule.
