During my replay of the game, I have come to realize a few things about how I am going to write V. First foremost, V’s first language is not English, and while she has a translation chip she tends to keep it off unless needed. Her most fluent languages are Russian and Italian as her parents were both russian and italian and they both spoke them inside her household growing up and the man that took her in kept her speaking those as a way to honor her parents. From there she ventured to learn Ukrainian, and then Spanish and due to her accent it is not the easiest to understand when she speaks Spanish she can speak it well enough that it is understandable. English is her most recently learned language and while she uses it frequently at times she skips and misses words because she goes to translate it through three other languages first and often because she does it so quickly things get left out and/or forgotten. V worked with Padre since she was a teenager, he is the only person who knows why she went to Atlanta. Padre is also the only person who knows what happened to V while she was in Atlanta and I can not stress this enough. You may have heard she went but no one outside of Padre and possibly Jackie knows. It was incredibly traumatic, it ruined V and she took a long time to bounce back from it when she came back from Night City. It involved a lot of violence and a lot of harm to V and her mental health as well as her general body and it is also part of why she maintains such the fuck with me and I will fuck with you energy. It is literally also worse than Night City, so much so she came back and intentionally is like don’t worry abt what happened im back. She has a flare for the dramatics, woman is known for jumping off high rise buildings and windows and shit. And it is evident when Padre drops her off at Embers and she jumped down literally to the place. She loves crazy things like that and will get extra dramatic with her flare, she also talks a lot with her hands, she is a very movement oriented person. Dramatic as hell but she has a good heart and intentionally acts a bit cold but is again known for keeping her word and genuinely wanting to help people who grew up like her. Her dramatics also go into her style of work, she is a bit insane with her tactics and while she isn’t good at stealth missions she can get them done if she really really tries. She tends to not be employed for those though.
