Naegi-san:
【 ✖ 未来;】To her, this sounded both frightning and slightly reasuring. One of her brother’s friends - and someone she had just met, whom of which just saved her - was going to go to the headquarters of the kids that were making this place a living hell, and make them give her a way she could get the bracelet off her wrist. It seemed really reckless - were they even going to listen to her? Wouldn’t they just throw her into the “game”, too?
The girl was at a lost of words. She doubted she could change the other’s mind, let alone do anything but help her. But, Kyouko obviously didn’t want to put Komaru in harm’s way - her brother would be worrying enough as it is, especially since she was prone to injury.
❝I… I’m pretty sure I can’t talk you out of this, but you should at least let me help you until you get to the main HQ. Even though I’m not really sure where it is any more…❞
Convincing a group of children to stop this dangerously childish game wasn't the detective's intentions at all. Far from it, in retrospect. No, her intentions were to infiltrate their base and find information on how to do it, or how it was even put on her in the first place.
There was nothing to gain from negotiating with homicidal, Enoshima Junko-influenced elementary students.
❝I… I’m pretty sure I can’t talk you out of this, but you should at least let me help you until you get to the main HQ. Even though I’m not really sure where it is any more…❞
Kyouko considered her options, clicking her tongue instead of sighing. If Komaru Naegi was anything like her brother, she'd refuse to let Kyouko go alone. Komaru's statements wouldn't be a choice, they'd be an ultimatum. Kyouko thought it best not to risk an argument.
❝ ... I'll allow it, but as soon as we reach the main HQ, I want you to hide. Find somewhere safe and make sure you aren't caught. I'll find you when I get out of there. ❞
