14/07/14   Reloading Podcast - Chapt – 175 Acensor (Reloading Records..) Bio-  The key moment for Ralf and Jörg Swoboda happened in the mid-90ies: the first techno sounds inspired the brothers strongly and they build up a very special connection with electronic music. Within the next years, the interest in the music and its scene increased and reached its peak in 2000, when they startet to spin the records themselves.  In 2002, both started to produce their first tracks. What started as a hobby, soon became real passion.  In 2008 they issued their first release with the label LuckySounds - the name Acencor was born. From then on, nobody could hold them down: the club debut was held in the same year. From then on, they were regular guest in the legendary club U603011 and made the crowd crazy about their sound. Since then they produced several EPs and remixes on labels like Ground Factory, Toneman, Yellow Recordings and many more that did not only reach the DJ charts, they were also used in sets of artists around the globe.  From the end of 2011, they were able to be part of the .raw event series and started off as residents next to Monoloc, Gayle San, Brian Sanhaji, Alan Fitzpatrick, Drumcell, Len Faki, Ben Klock and many more.  Their sound is full of energy, technoid, moving forward and partly with futuristic sounds - clearly nobody can resist this incredible drawing power on the dancefloor! 28/07/14    Reloading Podcast - Chapt – 176  Cortechs Live @St Gallen (Switzerland) Bio-   Uncompromising, Dark, Atmospheric. Techno! That’s the sound of Cortechs. It did not take long until the unique sound of Cortechs became attention in the global underground scene of techno music. After multiple releases on various prestigious labels, Cortechs earned his rightful position among the most important producers and performers of the german underground techno movement. With his first album "The End Justifies The Means" which was released on his regular label "Machine Box", Cortechs was able to give his sound a very personal touch and gather enough raw materials to use and intuitively play with in his exquisite Ableton Live sets. Having been on tour through Germany a lot of times, he always found inspiration for producing new sounds. This new material was also the basis for upcoming projects like the "Last 13 EP" released on Steil or the collaboration with Hackler & Kuch which was released on De-Konstrukt. With remixes for Angy Kore, Niereich, Morgan Tomas or Mike Wall, Cortechs has become an important and much requested remixer in the scene. In 2013 even more live gigs came around. This automatically resulted in much new material again which directly found ist way into his ableton sessions . This was also the biggest influence for his next big Project, his second LP "Waste of Humanity", which will be released on Steil later this year. Uun is darkness on the dancefloor. Coming up in the metal scene of Kansas City, Uun, also known as Ryan Malony, played in multiple regional bands from 2000-2008 before turning his focus to techno.Since 2007, Uun has put out mixes for Dystopian Rhythm, More or Less, Kansas City Techno, Business Class Records, Feed The Raver, Subterror Radio among others.In his home base Uun is known for being a member of Kansas city Techno as well as his previous residencies at The Riot Room and The Foundry.On July 17th, 2013 he released his first EP for Business Class Records. Titled "Minus" it features two originals plus remix duty from Blank Code's Joel Morgan, Naked Lunch's Stevie Wilson, & Dystopian Rhythm's Garret Dillon. He has also self released multiple tracks and two EP's.December 9th, 2013, marks the release of his second EP, this time for the vaunted Teggno Records. Entitled "Structure", it is a 130bpm techno workout that features two original's plus remixes from techno legend Andrei Morant and NYC based Justin Schumacher. 2014, and plans on taking his brand of dubby dark techno around the midwest and beyond.In 2014, Uun shows no sign of slowing down with multiple new releases and remixes in the works. Be on the lookout for his brand of dubby dark techno. With both Evil Remixes from Sutter Cane & Brian Burger, this project is just beautiful for this Summer and for all who like 'the' Techno.. We are delighted to announce Drumcell and Morgan Tomas presenting Reloading Records showcase. Rebekah and Kontrol Room will be joining us for this cutting edge night fully talented. ///DRUMCELL/// Drumcell is the founder of Droid Recordings and co-founder of Droid Behavior along with the Vangelis and Vidal Vargas of Raíz. Since the mid Nineties Drumcell has been a firm believer in the power of techno and over the past decade become one of Southern California’s greatest champions. As a graduate of the Musician’s Institute, a veteran performer at parties, and longtime recording engineer Drumcell harnesses a strong musical background with a gifted sense of technological intuition. The delicate balance keeps him pushing the limits of his gear continually as a way to develop his artistic express. Forming the Droid Behavior collective with the Vargas brothers in the early 2000's was another other major step in this ongoing development. In turn, the collective has helped expose other local artists as well as established DJs to the growing legion of techno fans in the Los Angeles basin. In the past five years, he’s played alongside nearly every major DJ in the genre via the trio’s signature Interface parties. This year he also did a mini-tour of the US which culminated in him playing the main stage at the prestigious Movement festival in Detroit. Drumcell ‘s constant push into the bleeding edges of music technology has earned him the title of product specialist for Native Instruments. He is out there pushing the limits of what current technology has to offer- developing homebrew software as well as cutting edge hardware solutions to bring a fresh, innovative taste to his production and performances. Innovations that blur the lines between live performance and a traditional DJ set up creating “a thick blend of acidic techno and aggressive but funky minimalist groove”. Drumcell is one of the few artists exploiting the full power of software like Traktor and Ableton run through state-of-the-art Allen & Heath mixer technology. In conjunction, the trinity is used to create a hybrid of flexibility and fidelity for the ultimate in electronic music performance. Drumcell uses this platform to highlight his own needles-in-the-red brand of aggressive, discordant techno. In fact, this summer’s Droid Recordings release “Cell Injection”, with longtime production partner Audio Injection, crystallized this amped up testosterone booster meets Quaalude jack and funk perfectly. In turn, the release captured the attention of many of the world’s top techno jocks in the process – including Speedy J and Richie Hawtin. It’s a sound born of musical menace and the kinds of wickedness that only the poisoned airs of LA can conjure. Recently, Drumcell has also had a string of additional successes including remixes of techno legend Chris Leibing on Leibing’s own CLR label as well as the seventh anniversary of the now legendary Interface parties These gatherings have brought the best of the old school warehouse vibe together with intense new school multimedia presentations that defy explanation. He is currently developing a audio/visual performance to be unveiled by the end of this year in hopes of elevating his performances at these events to the next level. Drumcell will definitely be one artist worth watching in 2012. ///REBEKAH/// Back in homeland after a longtime now, very first appearance after recently joining the CLR artist booking agency, she will soon release one of her tracks on a forthcoming Various Artists EP on CLR as an introduction to the label. Her previous tracks on labels as Cult Figures, Naked Lunch, Coincidence, 8 Sided Dice and Stolen Moments are played by all the biggest techno stars from Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Perc to ... Chris Liebing, obviously. ///MORGAN TOMAS/// The leader, illusion Sound resident been here already few times playing beside big names like Psyk, Material object, Kr!z, Octave, Gareth wild, Phase, Chris stanford, Michael wells. Only 2hrs from here in France where he does run the label Reloading Records and the weekly podcast with the same name and even part of Silent steps Records too. In the past years, he has several releases coming out on labels such as Sleaze, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Prosthetic Pressings or even Silent Steps and has been supported by great artists who often play his tracks. Morgan's music is a deep rooted Techno, dark and energetic. ///KONTROL ROOM/// Kontrol Room is a DJ/production duo, comprising of Chris Page and Dave Johnys. After playing back-to-back Traktor sets at London’s Kai-Zen parties, they found themselves wanting to enhance the scope of their performances beyond alternately mixing tunes for the whole set. They took inspiration from Chris Liebing & Speedy J’s Collabs outfit to devise an advanced live setup for subsequent performances. They now command 2 mixers, 2 laptops, various midi controllers and a synth during their sets. The sheer scale of their setup has had London talking and eventually dubbing the pair “Kontrol Room”.
