What headset to buy?
a number of different consumer grade eeg headsets are available at the moment. Following a meeting with Aine Behan founder of Cortechs http://cortechs.ie/ a company which makes EEG-controlled games for kids with ADHD. She provided plenty of advice on the viability of the whole concept and which headsets may be of use. She suggested two types of headset, the mindwave headset from Neurosky.com and the Muse headset (coincidently the name of our team!). While the Muse headset http://www.choosemuse.com/ provides more accurate data, it is also significantly more expensive than the Neurosky headset (approv 400 vs 100 euros). We will have to investigate the budget before making a decision.
