Hello, and welcome to the Endangered Blog Archive.
Many Tumblr posts are essentially lost media, especially (but not excluding) those which are NSFW or posted by transfem users. Given Tumblr's recent proclivity for deleting very suddenly with very little warning, Tumblr users are often unable to look through a deactivated blog and look at the posts they treasure. The Endangered Blog Archive is dedicated to partially alleviating this issue.
The Endangered Blog Archive makes no moral statements on any of the creators it reblogs from. All creators are eligible for submission if requirements are met. This is not because I am without morals, please do not come into my DMs filled with hated and bigotry, but because of the sanctity and purity of the archive and its ability to archive without judgement. Creators will be tagged by their urls pre-deactivation or deletion, and tags will be added to this post for each creator added to the archive. If you have posts from a deleted blog which is in the archive, please feel free to submit them via the askbox. DMs are open for an endangered or deleted blog you would like to request, however, if you are unable to link the requisite number of posts for an extinct blog, I will not be adding it to the archive.
Posts with slurs or hate speech will be tagged with #hate-speech-archives, please block this tag if you would like to avoid these posts. My posts as curator will be tagged as #endangered-curator.
Though I would not intend to impose on anyone, I would like this project to reach as many people as I'm able to make it, so that it can help as many people as possible. If you reblog from the archives, do give us a shout-out in the tags so that others note where to find us with #reblogged-from-endagered-blog-archive. I appreciate your time.
In an ideal world, scrolling through any given creator's tag on this blog will feel akin to reading their original posts when their blog still existed. While I cannot bring those blogs back, I hope that I can at least give people some satisfaction in the blogs they missed still being visitable. Thank you for patronizing my archive.
