i love that there are self shippers that ship with characters i’ve literally never heard of before. i think it’s so interesting how a character that has had no impact on my life whatsoever has completely changed somebody else’s. i think it’s so interesting how many different kinds of content are out there and how everyone in the community has been able to find at least one that resonates with them in a way that is truly specific to them. that’s neat
F/o: *starts speaking*

Imagine your f/o literally getting heart-shaped eyes when around you.
Imagine you and your F/O camping out under the stars, kissing and cuddling each other underneath the moonlight and the night sky.
imagine taking a ride on your f/o’s bike, sitting right behind them and wrapping your arms around their waist. resting your head on their back or shoulder as you both enjoy the ride.
Imagine you and your f/o are snuggled up on the couch beneath blankets on a snowy day, drinking hot chocolate and playing classic JRPGs together, but with a twist: you’re both voice-acting each of the characters’ dialogue boxes as dramatically as possible (the more over-the-top, the better).
Which one of you accidentally snorts hot-choc out of your nose while laughing first?
Imagine Your F/O
Imagine your f/o seeing that you’re cold due to the temperature dropping and they take off the article of clothing that’s keeping them warm and put it on you. You try to protest, but they say that you need it more than they do because they don’t want you to get sick. You looked at them and begin to blush because what they gave you is so warm and it smells like them. They spot it and smile, holding you close as you head home/to your destination so that you can warm up with with a warm drink and cuddles.
Bonus: Your f/o gets sick, but they don’t put the blame on you for it. But they wouldn’t mind some cuddling because being around you helps them stay warm.
Imagine waking up to gentle kisses that linger on your cheeks, and the soft smell of coffee and tea from the kitchen.

That you’re utterly exhausted and your f/o is trying to put you to bed, but you refuse to for whatever reason. They don’t really want to force you to bed, so they try to coax you instead.
“Hey, if you get to bed now, we could cuddle for the whole morning~”
“I have a surprise for you, but only if you come to bed~”
“If you go to bed now, you can get as much kisses you want”
Etc.
You see that they’re really worried though, and that makes you feel bad and you kind of give in and let them take you to bed. And promptly pass out the moment your head rests on the pillow.
Of course, they make sure you get your reward for being good when you wake up~
Bonus: You really like teasing them by not giving in, and it becomes more of a game between the two of you of how well they could sweet talk you to going to sleep.
Imagine…
You and your F/O are cuddling together in a cozily darkened room - there’s a fire flickering, a low, soft light that plays over their beautiful face and you’re wrapped in their arms, thinking how lucky you are to be theirs.
They turn to you, catch you gazing at them, and smile softly before brushing a gentle kiss on your mouth, then pull back slightly to delicately stroke their fingers over your features, their expression tender.
“What are you doing?” you ask, smiling a little. “Memorising me by heart?”
“No,” they reply, their voice warm and loving. “I already know you by heart.”
Just Imagine
Imagine the first time they say “I love you”.
Imagine the words resting quietly on the air, spoken in time with the rising sun and the soft whispers of morning.
Imagine them spoken at night, roughly, in the middle of an intense romantic encounter.
Imagine them bursting forth in the middle of a laugh, childish in their enthusiasm but shocking enough to silence all sound.
Imagine them choked out in relief as hands race over skin, checking for injuries and begging for reassurance.
Imagine them shouted at top volume, in the middle of an argument, never meant to come out that way.
Imagine them repeated, quietly, with desperate eyes and a defeated voice.

Imagine going out into the chilly night with your f/o(s) to go see the local Christmas tree lighting or one in a town nearby. You’re huddled together to keep warm as you view the shimmering lights and take in the cheerful atmosphere. You are about to leave but as you do, you and your f/o(s) manage to catch not one but two big candy canes that were being thrown to the crowd!
just imagine cuddling up to your f/o on a cold, snowy day. you have hot cocoa, plenty of blankets, and a long list of movies to watch. they play with your hair and pause to give you soft kisses between movies

imagine your f/o reassuring you when you’re feeling insecure or anxious about your relationship. pressing sweet, gentle kisses to the top of your head as they inhale the scent of your hair; brushing their lips across your forehead. cupping your face in their hands or resting their forehead against yours as they tell you how much of a difference you’ve made in their life – how happy you’ve made them, how special and cared for they feel with you. imagine them telling you all the things they love about you, from your physical features to your personality traits to the things you do to your little quirks, then reminding you that they love you so much and won’t ever leave you. 💖
