Everyone is born with the name of their soulmate on their hand. No one really knows when it started, many high class scientists have spent years pondering over DNA and trying to find meaning over endless amounts of numbers and digits, but to no avail, it's just there. Sometimes your soulmates name is written in beautiful swirly handwriting and other times it's in block letters. The name is written on the tender skin of your wrist, write above your veins. Many people adore the concept- it gives people hope, knowing that someone out there, loves them. However, many resent this. They believe they should have the right to fall in love with whoever they desire. In the end, it doesn't matter, because this is how the system works. But what happens when you fall in love with someone who isn't your soulmate? Do you stay with them? Or do you ignore your feelings and stick with the person you're meant to be with?

Biography: 

Santana is the star of her family, and has been since an early age. She commands attention the minute she walks into a room, and once she has that attention she’ll use everything at her disposal to keep it. Her inherent magnetism as well as her desire to be noticed make her a successful social climber, and in high school she ran with the popular crowd. Santana’s position was always precarious, however, due to her hot-headedness and sometimes cruel sense of humor. She holds no delusions about being a nice person, claiming the identity of “bitch” with pride. The only real moral code she keeps to is to take care of herself and her own. Close friendship has never been a priority, but her family is intensely important to her. She would do anything for her sisters; everyone else she prefers to keep at arm’s length.

Santana’s family is a musical one, and she has always loved to sing. She has never taken much to other instruments, as she has never really been willing to put in the practice time, but she does everything she can to maintain her voice. In high school, in addition to being on the cheer squad, Santana played the lead in a number of school musicals and was on the debate team. Now she is going to school for media studies with the goal of becoming a tv news anchor. She doesn’t sing much anymore, though she still has a weakness for karaoke.

From the moment she learned what it meant, Santana has hated the mark on her wrist. For as long as she can remember, she has seen it as a symbol of impending doom, rather than the sign of hope and comfort she knows others believe it to be. It serves only to remind her that she is not in control of her future. She hates the idea of being tied to someone else, and she dreads the day she eventually meets her supposed “soul mate,” viewing it as the day her life will cease to be her own. In the meantime, she does whatever she can to lay claim to her fate. As soon as she turned 18, she found a tattoo artist who was willing to cover the name on her wrist, and now the script lies illegible beneath a dense pattern of flowers. Not that Santana could ever forget what it says. Still, she tries to erase it from her memory with a parade of lovers with other girls’ names on their wrists. Santana’s sexuality has always been something of a fraught topic for her. In a world where most people’s sexual preferences are quite literally written on their bodies, Santana’s androgynously-named soul mate never provided her any clues as to where her attractions should lie. In a way, she is thankful to have that extra illusion of self-determination, to not be told what gender she should desire. On the other hand, having to sort it out without any guidance has been the source of a great deal of confusion.

Running away to Germany with her sisters was yet another way Santana sought to assert her independence. She had always wanted to travel, and she was beginning to feel trapped in her hometown, but as with every major decision in her life, she worries that it is only leading her toward a fate beyond her control.

Biography: Rebecka Berry is the complete opposite of her identical sisters. She doesn't even go by her given name, instead opting to go by the nickname "Beck". It suits her much better than something so stuffy and traditional. Her fathers may roll their eyes at her, but it is with a smile, and Beck knows why - no one cares what your first name is when you're a renowned neurosurgeon, and that is what Beck wants to be. 

Beck has always been more grounded than her sisters. She attributes it to being born smack dab in the middle. She doesn't require extra attention from being the baby, and doesn't demand the spotlight that comes from being first. Sometimes this means that she is skimmed over; fortunately, she doesn't mind so much.

Her family in general has always been more arts-orientated, but Beck has never quite gotten it. She can sit down and watch The Sound of Music with them for the umpteenth time, sure, but just because she can appreciate something doesn't mean she wants to build her life around. Beck's mind is more technical. She is able to focus on the minuscule details that others might miss, and she has an uncanny knack for memorization. All of this added up to sway her to the sciences. The brain is what fascinates her most of all. She sees Germany as a means for her to further her education in order to achieve her ideal career. Her fathers are entirely supportive of this, as they just want her to be happy, but she sometimes wonders if they would rather she follow an artsy career as they seemed to want for her when she was younger.

Don't let her career choice fool you: Beck's sharp mind comes with a sharp tongue. She has a love/hate relationship with sarcasm in the sense that others hate how much she loves to use it in casual conversation. In fact, Beck likes messing with people in general (she sometimes worries that this  is a questionable trait for a future would-be doctor). As a child, she would convince her sisters to switch clothes with her in order to confuse those around them. This love of pranking has not gone away with age. Beck can get pretty into it when she sets her mind to it, going to great lengths to plan out pranks, sometimes taking them to the extent of cruelty without intending to. Perhaps it is because joking around is one of her few outlets from her intensive studies.

Aside from that, though, Beck is a pretty normal girl. Her favorite animal is the hedgehog and it is her dearest ambition to own one someday. She has a secret love of instrumental music, whether it's piano solos or movie soundtracks. Rain is her favorite flavor of weather. Overall, she tends to go with the flow, but still retains that infamous Berry fire.

Beck has never thought twice about the name on her wrist. Quinn is a gender-neutral name and she has always assumed that it belongs to a man. This is good, because she has only ever dated men, although in recent years she has started to notice women more and more. She has no idea what to make of this, and has so far kept it hidden because she doesn't want to be a stereotype or prove the often-incorrect theory that gay couples produce gay children. Her sexuality feels like a ticking timebomb within her. It is only a matter of time before it explodes; Beck hopes that there will be no casualties when it does.

Oliver Jacen Hummel was always quiet, ever since he was born. He didn’t cry very much as a baby and his speech development was being questioned because even though he knew how to talk he just didn’t It wasn’t like Oliver was a mute, he just had difficulty talking. As he grew up, he developed a stutter, as he felt immense amounts of anxiety anytime he had to speak. It wasn’t too bad around people he knew, like his family, and he could have long conversations with them without stuttering. Of corse, his difficulty talking didn’t help him make friends at all. When school started, Oliver just simply didn’t talk to anyone. He was too scared to, so he just avoided everyone. He never went over to friends houses on the weekend and Kurt and Ariel had to sacrifice their extravagant birthday parties, so Oliver didn’t have to endure the awkwardness of having no one come to his party. When his mother died, things got worse. Oliver had difficulty accepting it, and just simply tried not to talk about it, which meant even less talking from him.

On his first day of high school, Oliver had his first panic attack. His anxiety levels were so high because of the people he was around, so he just started freaking out, and was sent home, where Burt took him to the doctor, who diagnosed him with anxiety disorder and prescribed him Xanax, a pill, used for anxiety disorders, but is very commonly abused. Of course, Oliver never dreamed of abusing them. Not until the bullying started, and Oliver was basically miserable. He was a shy, quiet kid, who would flinch at TV static, an average spazo. Oliver’s attacks kept getting worse and worse, and he thought, to solve it, he could just take more medicine. He kept taking more and more each dose, and Burt got suspicious, but Oliver begged him not to take them away, or he was sure he’d go crazy.

The bullying at school got worse, which he expected, he was an antisocial nerd, and having Ariel as his brother only seemed to make it worse. Some days the bullying was so bad, Oliver wanted to do online school. Some days, it was so bad, Oliver didn’t want to do anything. Along with shy, he became depressed, and was always stealing Ariel’s lighters to give himself burns on his stomach. One day, when things were really bad, Oliver took a little too much Xanax, and chased with with a bottle of alcohol his dad had in the house and was put into the hospital. They saved his life in time, and Oliver has since been to rehab, but he’s still very sad, and is just better at hiding it now. Oliver’s good grades would have allowed him to go to any college, but he picked the same one as his brother, in hope college wouldn’t be too nerve-wracking if his brother was there.

Hello lovely, I know that it wasn't fair but seeing as these finals determined whether I got into university or not, it was pretty important. I've gone quite a bit without the internet because my future is more important to me than my roleplay life. I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but it's true. However, I have just finished all my finals and I'm back for good. We'll be accepting whenever I have a chance to look over the applications which should be soon.

Well, I'm not sure where Sarah made this one, but patterncooler has over 10,000 different patterned backgrounds that you can customize and what not, so I would recommend checking that website out!
