“So everyone’s missing and we have no answers. You two were probably smart enough to try and call or text so I won’t ask.” Wendy took a seat on the couch trying to figure out what to do. Boyd had been so MIA it was a hard call on if he could be asked. Niya was questionable too. If this was something that big then it was a reason for even a high demon to worry about the outcome. “I can try and do a search myself. The demons have been weirdly quiet and I mean like non existent quiet and it’s not right. Something is very wrong.” Beyond the norm anyhow. “Margaux’s with Ember. Ember’s scared to death of losing her dad and can you blame her?”

“Sounds like we’re in another mess,” Effie grumbled. One that she would rather wasn’t even remotely a thing. She hoped to everything that no one that was missing was hurt or worse. How could they know? “A search would be good. Just weird as hell that you’re helping us miss high demon who murders on a whim.”

“It’s like they vanished out of thin air.” Remy knew pacing wouldn’t solve anything. She reluctantly sat on the coffee table to sit across from Effie and Wendy. It was the strangest combination she’d give it that but it was how the worst of things could bring people back together like that. “Well like I said right now the best thing we can do is stick together just in case more people we know go missing. Whatever this is we’ll figure it out. Wendy, you doing a search is a good. I’ll call Noah too and see if the station knows anything.” If it was this grand of a deal then maybe the supernatural police would have some insight. “If you want to bring Margaux here that’s ok. The kids might like all being together with each other right now.” Wyatt had cried upon realizing that Seth was nowhere to be found. She couldn’t blame him. Remy did shoot Effie a look for her comment.

“Right. Good idea.” Better in numbers or whatever that shit was. She wasn’t sure what exactly a long term plan was when they didn’t have a lot of resources but she refused to give up. Garrett wouldn’t give up on her and she wouldn’t give up on him. She was about to say something else when the front door all but blew itself open with a force. Normally she’d be more concerned but Wendy looked a cross between mad and upset.

“Where the hell is Brant?” she demanded and folded her arms over her chest. Looking between Effie and Remy she could sense something was off. “What’s going on?”

“My dads missing. So is Garrett,” Effie supplied. She thought this time around she could actually tell Wendy even if she still didn’t trust her and didn’t like her. “Apparently Sam too and who knows who else.”

“Oh…” Wendy felt her heart sink. Everyone was missing? How were they all missing? “That’s bullshit.”

Remy was startled when Wendy of all people barged in. Hearing Brant wasn’t anywhere to be found was another cause for concern. It just confirmed how wide spread everything was. If it was a witch then it was a coven because they would need all the power they could get. “Yeah we’re not sure where anyone is right now, Wendy. I think this would be one time where we do need to work together,” Remy explained to her sister. “Where’s Margaux?”

“Same with Garrett. I was freaking out and then the pack’s freaking out. I left Elliot in charge right now.” He’d have to until this was figured out. A mass disappearance was cause for concern. “Do you think hunters or something? I mean it kind of sounds like witches. This is like grand scale shit.” Nothing good either. “Yeah ok. I’ll try again.”

Remy let it go a few times and left a few voice mails. She wasn’t sure if he was even going to get them. Phones in other timelines worked weird so she couldn’t be that sure anymore. “Nothing,” she sighed. How could there be nothing? It wasn’t like him. He wouldn’t want to make her worry like that. She could tell by the tears in Effie’s eyes that she was  getting the same sort of response. “Seems more of a witch thing but as to why or who I have no idea. We’ve all kept to ourselves for the most part lately. Let’s just stay calm and we keep trying what we’re doing. Right now the best thing we can do is stick together. I’m going to see if Esther wants to come over here for now with the kids.”

Remy: You're scaring me. Where are you?

Remy: It's really not funny... Effie says Garrett's missing too. If you don't answer I'm going to go have to go to the police

“Wait, dad’s missing?” Effie had gone to see her mom because of her own issue but apparently it was more than that. She let Luca and Luna play for now. “Garrett’s missing too. I can’t figure out where he is and he didn’t pick up his phone. Did you try Sam? He could do a locator spell.”

“I got up the other morning and he was gone. There’s no trace of him.” Remy wouldn’t worry normally but there was no note. There was no indication anything even happened. She was confused and worried. “I did and Sam’s not answering me either. Esther said she couldn’t find him. I don’t know what’s going on but we have to do something.” Grabbing her phone she was just hoping at that point. “I’ll try your dad. You could try Garrett again.”

“I can’t find Seth anywhere and I’m sorry but in my experience that usually means something bad happened.” Remy didn’t mean to scare Effie with the news but she really really was worried this time around. He didn’t just vanish on her. He didn’t do that to the kids either. “I don’t know what’s going on.”
