Send me the name of a video game and I'll reply with my character's reaction while playing it.
(Checks on here to see if anyone replied... Sees that no one did for the last 10 days... Okay...)
(For anyone interested I started rping the twins again as well as the rest of the Wolf Pack over on here)
Your muse sees my muse battered and bruised, how does your muse react?
Asgore’s mother always told him never to talk to strangers but with the way he was dressed he could be part of the castle so it wouldn’t hurt to talk to him Asgore thinks. “S-s-some k-k-ids w-were r-r-really m-mean to me t-today.” Asgore said looking at his cuts and starting to sob and hiccup more. Asgore didn’t think his first day of school outside of the kingdom would have ended this badly. He should have just went with schooling inside the castle but he really wanted to interact with some of the local human and monster children so bad all he just really wanted was a friend out of all of that. “T-they h-hurt t-to touch…”
Max hushed the Asgore softly after moving a little closer to try and comfort him from the pain and from sobbing, careful not to touch the injuries as he tried to rub the goat’s back.
“Take a deep breath, young one... There, there...” he said in an assuring tone.
“My name is Maximillian, and I’m... Well... I’m no one important, but I assure you, I’m a friend” he added, frowning however now that he got a better look at the child’s wounds.
Children or not, harming someone who was defenseless and had no intention of fighting was a sure-fire way to set off the short-tempered Acorn, but right now, that wasn’t his priority. What mattered now as to make sure that the boy was okay.
“Look, we need to get your wounds checked, do you know of any nearby clinics?” asked the wheelchaired squirrel to Asgore, looking around to see if there were any indication that a clinic or apothecary’s home was in the immediate area.
Asgore on his way back to the castle from his first day of school was crying and cleaning off his wounds he unfortunately received from a few of the monsters and humans. Asgore knew he couldn’t go home looking like he was so despite how much they hurt to touch he stated cleaning his inguries. He winced from the pain but it had to be done before he could even think about going home.
This was... Really strange, although Max knew most of his family’s territories and cities, this place just didn’t look familiar to him at all despite how many mobians (he thought) lived in this place. But what struck him the most was the fact that there were humans living alongside them as well as if nothing had happened.
The former monarch thought that he was either delirious or he had stumbled upon a renegade warp portal once again and sent him to a different world.
Although the thought of him being utterly helpless, since he didn’t know of anyone here, went through his mind and scared him, the squirrel merely gave a huff and tried to observe his surroundings in case another renegade appeared.
As he went through the busy streets of the kingdom, the mobian blinked when he noticed a young... Goat, it seemed, crying and wincing as he tried to tend to his injuries, undoubtedly from a fight from the looks of it.
Frowning, the squirrel turned his wheelchair to the other’s direction and pushed himself to approach the young one.
“Young man... Are you alright?” he asked, pushing his wheelchair and maneuvering so that he was in front of the injured child.
“Dear god, who did these to you?” he asked with a frown, calmly raising a hand to try and examine the extent of the goat’s wounds.
Different Sides of a Coin

Max was struggling to untie the thick crumple of grass that had left his wheelchair stuck in the middle of the patch of flowers in what seems to be the garden... Or maybe a throne room of a cavernous castle. The former monarch didn’t know how he got here, one minute he was about to get some tea from the table and the next thing he knew he was transported somewhere unfamiliar, immobilized.
He could try and forcefully tear away the obstacle, and he would have if it weren’t for the fact that the garden or throne room looked tended and well-cared for.
With a sigh, the old squirrel could only shake his head and swallow his pride, even if just for a little.
“H-Hello? I-Is anyone there? I... I need some assistance!”

There was always going to be an odd situation when dealing with things like the multiverse, which had proved to happen in almost all of Salvador’s journeys. Today might have to be one of those days where it was happening.
In most zone’s Sally’s father was a certain monarch named Maximilian, so this made things odd if Sal had the chance to ever meet one. The prince tried to be careful on zones that had the male version of his mother, but all this caution would be for nothing as he did end up going to a zone of gender difference.
It was almost funny in a way that the zone-hopper happened to have entered inside the castle , and close to a certain former king’s quarters no less. Salvador tried to sneak out of the castle and wait for the ring to recharge, which ended up in bumping into something that made a large ‘crash’ sound near the door.
Max was dozing off near the balcony with his arms crossed, leaning back against the soft leather of his wheelchair. With Alicia taking her afternoon tea and chatting with the helpers, the former monarch tried to enjoy his time alone, knowing that she was better off mingling with someone who didn’t need assistance with nearly every single thing in the world for once.
The monarch opened his eyes and turned his head at the noise near the door, narrowing those blue orbs when he noticed that a terrified scream from a helper or an ‘OOPS’ from Sonic was heard.
Whoever this was, they were trying to sneak in, and Max was sure of it.
Taking the sword from one of the ornate armors in his room, the wheelchaired squirrel carefully approached the door, sword drawn at the ready before using the scabbard to push the door open as strong as he could.
“WHO’S THERE?!” he shouted, ready to defend or attack despite his... Physical advantage

Max had gone out for a walk. At first it was just so that he can get some air, cool his head from all the terrible thoughts that pooled into his head whenever he wasn’t pre-occupied. Of course it wasn’t a walk, not in his current state, but it was technically still one. Usually he had Alicia helping him but he could not stomach the thought of disturbing her sleep just because he wanted some fresh air.
So with a bit of difficulty, the squirrel got himself on his wheelchair and moved about the castle, careful not to gain the attention of any of the guards... Or worse, Elias and the others.
Thankfully, the former monarch managed to head out to the garden without being seen by anyone.
Catching his breath for a moment, Max began to move along the bricked road of the castle garden without any direction in mind. So long as no one was there, he didn’t mind wandering aimlessly, at least it distracted him from his worries more than anything.
That was until of course, a sharp cold wind blew against him, causing the old squirrel to shiver and hug himself after quickly pulling the lever at the side to immobilize his wheelchair’s wheels. Max didn’t know it but he had accidentally gone through a rogue ring portal that sent him somewhere else.
Panting a little after the gale finally passed, the former monarch looked around, wondering just... Why were christmas decorations already in place... And... He didn’t know where he was actually.
To his side however, was a fairly large building with the sign “GRILLBY’S” on it.
Now Max may have spent his youth in pleasantries and royal matters, but he knew that this was a pub or a bar when he saw one.
Undoing the brakes to allow himself movement once again, the squirrel grunted as he pushed his wheelchair through the snow-covered ground so that he can enter the establishment in hopes of knowing where he was.
“H-Hello?” asked Max after knocking a few times and opening the door, peering through the gap rather shyly.
About
Once a royal who nearly had nothing but a name and the duty to lead, today, Max was... Just that... Someone with a name.
Bound to his wheelchair, the Acorn watched as his son changed everything that his family stood for. What took numerous generations of hard work and suffering to establish a kingdom for mobians far and wide to be protected from the humans only took a single night of small quarrel for successor to transition to a democracy.
If Max was only in his right mind, then he would have been proud of Elias to finally decide something for himself. But with the way things are, with how he spent the remainder of the war against Eggman off the frontlines, bedridden, and a mere pointing finger, Max just thought that everything went too fast and he couldn’t find his worth in his bloodline.
He swore he did all he could, he swore he fought when he could and lead when he could. But now he was just a broken man with broken dreams, being taken care of by his wife as if he was some helpless old man.
Max may not have been doing well physically and emotionally, but he wouldn’t show that to Elias and Sally.
Everything... His royalty, his crown, his title as commander of the entire Mobian Forces, may have been taken away from him...
But only death itself can take away the pride that he desperately clings to.
(Hello friends, guess who just guessed the password to this blog after so long)
Do you know the difference between you and your New World self? He can walk.
-cue Max trying to wrestle the Sword of Light from Elias so that he can murder this anon-
"Yeah dad…and he’s not the only one. Another’s been acting as an intern for the council. His name is Rex." Said Elias with a sigh. "Confusing I know."
"... I think I may have to lie down for a while..." commented Max, finding it rather confusing just like what Elias has said. How can the other deal with two versions of his child living in the same zone while raising an infant version of the two? Then again... Max did have some... questionable activities as of late so he can't really judge Elias.
Elias shook his head. “No. Shard isn’t someone to go out in the open like that, despite mine and Sir Charles’ reassurance. That…might have been Sebastian. Another future alternate of my child, from the same zone as Alexis. They’re sort of both from a zone where Shadow rules over Mobius as a brutal tyrant.”
"Sebastian...? As in... The future self of the infant that I have been cradling not too long ago?" asked Max with raised brows before sighing at the mention of a Shadow ruling Mobius "If Eggman's not the one trying to take over, it's Shadow... Makes me wonder just how many things this planet has to deal with before achieving peace..."
Max sighed again “I’m getting older, Elias. In a few years, I’ll need a wheelchair to get around again… But for formality’s sake, let’s see if Horatio’s diagnosis if I can even undergo therapy” he explained, not sounding too optimistic about it.
"I doubt it. At the rate that medicine is advancing, things like wheelchairs might become things of the past. But alright, dad. We’ll talk with him when I get back okay?" Elias said as he guided Max into said wheelchair.
"I just want to help, that’s all."
"Alright, alright" chuckled Max, grunting as he flopped back on to the wheelchair with Elias's help "Also, was Shard visiting someone? I recall seeing him heading to the infirmary I think..." he inquired, having seen a metallic hedgehog walking a couple of days ago, not knowing that it was Sebastian in his Metal Sonic Armor to visit the injured Alexis.
And at that, Elias’ ears pinned back a little. “Please don’t call yourself that, dad. I know you don’t like doctors, but please let me help you? It isn’t healthy to keep sitting in that wheelchair, and wouldn’t it be nice to be able to walk?”
