Steps rolled and echoed through the halls, a gentle hum rolling through the air as fluttering pages soon followed.
The Royal Scientist... hmmhmm... it had been a good long while since he’d much gotten the title, but ah! It never ceased to amaze him that Asgore... the monster that had saved him and his struggling little family from such strife... would recognize what others had seen as scrawlings of some high and mighty former noble... as something with suh potential!
He flipped through pages, sorting through what was actual work and what were in fact scribbles Papyrus had snuck into his folders to try and help further his research... at lest... that’s what he thought he was doing.
If anything, it gave him more drive to continue... to perhaps find some way to ensure his work could be completed and that maybe perhaps one day... his boys would get to see the outside world as he had known it... from before those dark old days...
Humming under his breath... the once New Zealand resident carried on with his stroll through the streets of the kingdom... a rhythm to his steps... Papyrus had been rather deeply entranced by this new fellow on TV, and he’d been singing their tune all week!
Some things do tend to get stuck in one’s head after so long!
Goodness, it certainly was a bit of a ways to the Castle! He did certainly hope the King didn’t find it rude if he were a tad tardy to their little meeting! Gaster new just how much he loved swapping stories from day to day living within the kingdom... he’d hate to keep him waiting!
