SUDDENLY EXCESSIVE HOMESTUCK FEELINGS.
BRB DROWNING IN CREYS.
We have no use for money in the casino.
Anyone else read that as 'strip poker'?

Gee gee bro
If anyone has any complaints about the time limit/time zones/etc thing, I’ll be addressing them later by throwing out the details of the plans, and then if you have any complaints about how certain things are “unfair” because not everyone lives in the same timezone, I’ll be taking those at a later time when I actually HAVE time to read everyone’s thoughts and comments.
( It should be sometime this weekend, hopefully! )
But keep in mind that BR will probably not be executing any of these events any time soon based on reactions from the OOC tag unless there is demand for it again. I’m really sorry this event didn’t turn out as fun as some people wanted it to be (it was supposed to reduce stress by introducing the idea of threadding shorter and quicker instead of being pressured to match length).
Hey BR staff. I just wanted to reply and let you know what I, the team leader for the front running team at the moment, thinks of this event. Apparently a lot of people have been giving you flac for this, and I just want you to know that I think this idea and event were great.
You let us know ahead of time that we should rely on short threads to get us through, if someone wants to complain about not being able to- they probably should have taken that as a clue not to sign up, or try to pack more actions into each post to make up for the time lost in between posts. If someone wants to complain about not being able to complete long posts, they need to remember it was their choice to do so.
Finally, you gave everyone what I think was more than enough time to finish it. My team waited over a day before we moved on from our thread and we still finished in time. But it does bring up a good point and my one suggestion.
People need to step it up and decide to be a team leader or not. I saw a LOT of people asking to be added to teams, which is fine, but this indecision is why more teams were not formed. If you want to be on a team, make a team! There are enough people that someone will want to be on a team with you, don't put yourself down or think no one will want to. And as a team leader who made this mistake, here is the other important thing to keep in mind that I didn't realize- not everyone is in the same timezone or has the same schedule as you. Talk to your team members before you finalize plans. It's important to communicate, and if you haven't been able to get in contact with them since you sent in your team form chances are you won't after the event starts.
My suggestion for this is simple, people who want to be added onto teams should just post a blurb about themselves. Contact info, timezone/times you're online and active. That way team leaders can pick potential members based on who they could create the fastest thread with, and share ideas with. This certainly isn't a problem on the fault of the staff, but of myself as team leader for not thinking about this and ending up losing two team members in the first day of the event. Although this worked out well for Dirk and Alanna so I'm hardly complaining.
ANYWAY, this was rambling and I'm really sorry about that but I had a lot of feelings and ideas buzzing around in my head about this event. I think it was a great idea, and that you guys did really well execution-wise for letting everyone choose their own basic plot. I don't think you guys did anything wrong, in fact I congratulate you for what I think is a fairly original idea. I'd definitely participate in another event like this one, although I'd take the precautionary measures before hand and probably keep my group to 2 or 3.
i’m really sorry, i can’t muster any replies lately
hopefully i’ll get back into the swing of things soon
especially with this new event asdij

I swear I will get to replies. I'm just so worried about this event :| BUT I WILL GET TO THEM.

Added Naoto-mun but Stiles-mun and Allana-mun should definitely add me if possible so we can coordinate Team Sexuality and Gender Identity Issues Fancy Santas.
Aiight hey peeps. We at Bethlehem Royal would like to introduce a new form of event roleplaying; the quick thread. This means that you’re not going to have time to consider the actions and thoughts of your characters as you try to feel them in the whole, but rather what they would do under immediate stress. Because of the circumstances of this new event, you are NOT going to have time to roleplay as you traditionally will.
Of course, this event is purely optional, and if there’s not enough interest we may scrap it in favour of a traditional treatment. It’s just a trial to try and get everyone more willing to do shorter threads so you get to suffer less through the paragraph by paragraph posts that certain people seem to have trouble with (like aumod).
We just thought it would be fun to try an unorthodox event, but if people are uncomfortable we won’t bring it back.
What.
What does this mean.
What is going on.
What will this event be.
Unless it's trick-or-treating, and that's cool.
But now I'm worried.
Halp.
Ask the character/mun: Ask the muse whatever you want for them to answer IC; or ask the mun a personal question to get to know better or to get an OOC answer.
Truth/Dare: Be reasonable with the dares! If you start getting ridiculous no one will want to do them; characters aren’t really obligated to do all the dares they receive. Don’t forget about the truth part as well!
Headcanon: Anons send the character a word, or a name and you may write a small/long headcanon about said word!
Drabbles: Give the muse a prompt and they may write a short drabble on it.
SOMEONE BEAT ME TO HORUSS WHAT DO I DO NOW.
WHAT DO I DO.
Is it terrible that I sort of want a Horrus/Rufioh ship now?

Sona why you no run. We don't need more babies dying up in here.
Okay maybe we do but I as the player will feel guilty.
Dirk doesn't care because he's possessed but he will cut you.
Kamina and Dirk have a shades-off to see whose pointy anime shades are more ironic.
This needs to happen.
Because dashes don't register on tracking tags... I'll now be following
