This Weeks ReciProty Leader is Kathryn Clark, Senior Sales/Marketing Manager for the Portland Women's Expo and its foundation. Kathryn has earned recognition by sharing resources and connections on ReciProty.
1. Tell Us More About Yourself And Your Company.
My name is Kathryn Clark and I am the senior sales/marketing manager for the Portland Women's Expo and its foundation. The Portland Women's Expo Foundation hosts the Expo as a spring fundraiser for our organization. The Portland Women's Expo has become, in just 2 short years, the largest ladies consumer event in the entire state of Oregon.
Our Expo in March 2013 brought 250 vendors and 11,600 attendees through our doors. We are hoping for 12,500 in 2014.
2. How Can You Help Other Reciproty Members?
I can help Reciproty members by letting them know how to get involved in the Portland Women's Expo as a vendor, partner, or even a volunteer. They are able to connect with thousands of ladies in one day, more than they will probably meet for the entire year.
3. Name One Value Added Benefit Your Company Can Offer Our Members.
The benefit to Reciproty members being part of the Portland
Women's Expo is that for one day in one place they are able to connect with the family member who makes 85% of the decisions on how the household budget is spent. Whatever we call her Mom, wife, partner she is the lady with the funds!

The value to joining ReciProty as a member is the constant growth of the company; always new members bringing their skills and talents to others, always face to face meet-ups - doing business the old fashion way. Share some food, have a drink, end on a handshake, and make that connection with a potential new customer.

About the Author
*Kathryn is originally from Iowa and has lived in Portland for the past 8
years. She is the mother of 2 grown daughters: Angel who is a professional artist in Minneapolis and Sandra who is a family therapist at Iowa's largest children’s hospital.
Kathryn has volunteered since 2002 as a spokesperson, event organizer and advocate of suicide prevention (AFSP.org) through education, research and awareness. Presently she is a peer to peer outreach volunteer visiting with local families, students, and others who have had a suicide loss.
In January of 2013 Kathryn was recognized as one of Oregon's Professional Women of the Year for her work and dedication to the nonprofit sector.
