"Trust me when I say it that you don’t want Vega’s cheap tequila." Ashley commented, eyeing up an empty space at the bar. "Whiskey sounds good though."
Moving to slide into the seat, she made sure no one was going to take the one beside hers, grinning still. “Orrrr maybe something with a little more flavour.”
"I can think of a few things. " came the sly remark as Serin sat down beside her. "Or more than a few things." her voice dropped an octave.
"Ohoh, you’re not the only one with Spectre status, Commander.” Ashley retorted with a snort and a laugh to follow, minding that she didn’t bump into a turian on her way up the last few stairs.
The smile was still on Serin's face as she shook her head, turning around to walk somewhat backwards when she got to the top of the stairs, knowing she needed to be careful, lest she plow someone over like she would on the battlefield.
"Alright, vodka? Whiskey? Whatever that crap was that had you sleeping on the floor?"
"Shots, always shots." Serin said gruffly before marching up the stairs.
"No uh, what was it? Drinks with umbrellas?" She teased again, speeding up in case the commander elbowed her. She had heard Joker complain about it enough times to never forget it.
"Oh, you like that sweet fruity shit that's better at giving you a brain freeze than getting you drunk?" was the shot back with a smirk. "Because you know, I can get you two umbrellas in that drink."

Hearing something Ashley turned and gave the commander another look as she headed for the upper bar towards the stairs. “So shots or just passing the time slowly?”
"Shots, always shots." Serin said gruffly before marching up the stairs.
"Are you saying that’s happened before because that might just become your new habit, Skipper." Ashley returned. "Just because I wound up on the floor that one time…"
"Still beats me waking up in the elevator." Serin muttered under her breath, hoping Ashley did not catch that.
[[should probably sit down and overhaul parts of Serin's dossier and whatnot. I don't really like rping her as a Shepard with other Shepards.]]
"I think upper. I mean, unless you can handle going down stairs by the end of the night…" Ashley teased. "Either way’s good with me."
"Oh? You think I'm going to be the one walking up on Aria's couch when the night is over?" Serin challenged with that grin and a shake of her head. "You're wrong, so wrong LC."
"Hell. Yes." Ashley replied, walking off the ship with an air to her strides. It wouldn’t take too long, she knew, and besides, having fun made the time go by quickly.
The laughter never really stopped on the way to Purgatory, and with both of them being big names, all it took was a smile to jump the line. "Upper or lower floor?" Serin asked, wondering what bar should be their first victim.
Ashley’s laughter filled in with the commander’s, leaning back into the corner. “I think a little bit of both when they realised both of us kicked their asses.”
The smile was daring to be permanent on the Commander's face. "Come'on." she said when the doors opened. "Let's attack that bar."
Waiting for the elevator, Ashley chuckled again, shaking her head. “No kidding. I swear, the looks on their faces afterwards was just enough to know they’d messed with the wrong people.”
"Was that before of after my fist was in their face?" Serin laughed loudly as they boarded the elevator. "Men, really."
"Either way, let’s hope we don’t have to get into any kinda bar fight this time." She answered, heading towards the elevator away from the mess hall to head up to deck 2 to leave the ship.
"I know, it was awful." Serin made a face. "Don't like Alliance-types. I swear that almost sounded like a movie-quote." she pressed the button the summon the elevator from whatever floor it was hiding on.
"I’m just saying it’s a good walk. Unless you wanna run there, then hell, I’m down for it too." She grinned, nudging the commander gently in the side with her elbow. "C’mon, let’s get going, yeah?"
Serin shook her head as she took a step back, bowing slightly. "It's on you LC."
"That’s fair. Bit of a trek but it’ll be a bit of a warm up, huh?" The lieutenant-commander let out a laugh, clearly amused with her own joke.
Serin chuckled, but the sound could hardly be heard. "What? 'Bit of a trek' too much for you LC? I thought you were a marine, not a desk-jockey."
"Heh, thought you’d be up for it." Ashley grinned, checking her omni tool briefly. "Walking or do you wanna catch a cab?"
"Walk there, we're gonna have to cab back if we can't crash on a couch there." Serin responded, placing a hand on her hip. "Credits might be an abundance, but I still hate spending them."
She snorts in response, shaking her head with a smile. “Name the time and place sister.”
Ashley folds her arms, smirking something fierce. “Purgatory, 2200 hours. Won’t just be some uppity bar either. There’ll be a chance for a bit of a show.”
a sideways glance in the response. "Purgatory eh?" she rubbed her chin for a moment. "Alright, let's play."
