If you've somehow stumbled onto this blog, hello! This originally started as a sideblog for headcanons and au ideas revolving around Giratina, Volo, and Akari (and their respective polycule), but has since expanded to include more pokémon-inspired characters as well. These days it's mostly become a place for me to ramble about whatever AU I currently got kicking around in my brain. With occasional bits of art, memes, and smutty headcanons.

And on that topic: this is an 18+ blog. It's not all NSFW stuff here but I post about it often enough. I try to tag things as mature where applicable, but you have been warned. And this of course should go without saying, but MINORS DNI.

Asks are open and encouraged! I'm always down to chat about Giratina, Volo, Akari, or whatever characters/AU I'm currently obsessed with. And if you're ever curious about an AU I'm posting about, feel free to ask about it!

Giratina as sleep paralysis demon is fun, but consider

Giratina as failed sleep paralysis demon, shows up to terrifying Arceus’ chosen and just gets cuddled like a plushie??? And she has a crazy grip so they’re just stuck till morning for sudden fear of waking her up properly. Not because they’ll be hurt but because this the first time Giratina has seen her not stressed as a psyduck and it’s making them feel things

LMAO AWWWWWW oh I love that so much. Giratina deserves the accidental cuddles. They try to act all huffy and indignant about it but it doesn't stop them from coming back the next night - just to try and properly scare her this time, honest! They're not secretly hoping she clings to them again. Nor are they worried about her sleeping properly. Absolutely not.

I kinda want this to keep happening every night to the point that Giratina is able to start slipping into Akari's dreams and talking to her. Akari just thinks it's weird dreams but her shadowy dream friend is nice and she wakes up feeling better whenever it happens. She has no idea her dream visitor is steadily falling head over heels for her (and clinging to her even tighter in the real world).

Giratina as Volo's favorite sleep paralysis demon

...Okay but you're on to something with that tho. Volo waking up in the middle of the night in pitch blackness, unable to move, weighed down by a shadowy presence. That split-second of terror at his own helplessness. Only able to watch as the darkness moves above him and he's suddenly staring into two large, burning red eyes.

Then the terror then gives way to the relief of "oh, it's just Giratina," followed by "you do realize that if you want to have some fun, you can just ask."

Giratina responds with a laugh that rumbles down to his bones and sets about having fun with their shadows (all while making sure Volo stays paralyzed so they can play to their heart's content).

Nox is that one person on VC in a game who just silently listens to the abuse from rageful gamers before clapping back with something that destroys their bloodline

LMAO yes exactly! Sidenote I think they'd actually really like playing fighting games. They strike me as the type to pick some weird underdog mid/low tier fighter as their main and somehow still manage to dogwalk all the top tiers.

So considering that Spectral Thief is Marshadow’a signature move, is Nox a bit of a kleptomaniac?

Lmao oh I didn't even think of that, but probably! I don't think they'd steal anything too serious tho. More "sneaking a few cookies from the cookie jar" and stuff like that.

Also since Spectral Thief doesn't steal items and instead steals stat bonuses, I like to imagine Nox as an expert rage baiter who waits for their opponent to get all worked up before yoinking their +6 attack boost and knocking them out in a single punch.

Now I just imagine Lux asking Volo if they can buy some matches, and Gris overhears and steps in like "first off, those are a bit dangerous for someone your age. Second, we can easily call upon Akari's Typhlosion or summon some helpful Litwicks if we need to light something. So why, pray tell, do we need to buy matches?"

Lux: "I was gonna use them to make exploding stickers :)"

Gris: "...I think we need to reconsider your internet privileges."

Lux and Nox finding that old king of random video about touch powder and deciding to make it because quite frankly it’s too easy and they got curious

Bonus points if when they ask their parents about it they’re suspiciously soot covered

For all the kinky scenarios that get me drooling, what I'm craving like a nutritional deficiency is: Platinum AU post-Rift-closing, when Gris and Volo tuck Akari into bed between them and lavish her with all the praise and affection she deserves.

Lmao well you'll be happy to know that that's pretty much exactly what happens! I'm not gonna give too many details about what happens on Spear Pillar, but immediately afterwards Gris makes a show of whisking Akari back to the Platinum Settlement, "where she belongs" (and they carry her down the mountain in their arms on top of it.)

After that it's kinda a blur because Akari's exhausted, but when she wakes up she's in Gris's home, all cozy in their futon. At first it's a struggle to open her eyes because she's so cozy, but she can hear soft humming and a hand stroking her hair. And when she opens her eyes she sees Gris lying beside her, one hand propping up their cheek, watching her with pure, possessive warmth in their eyes.

And as soon as they see that she's awake, they smile and go "Good morning, beloved 🖤"

Akari's still a bit dazed and needs a moment to figure out where she is, but eventually it hits her. Gris tells her that she passed out pretty much the second she hit the futon. They and Volo both spent the night cuddled up to her to make sure she got plenty of rest. Akari's a bit embarrassed by this revelation but also not unhappy about it.

Volo pops his head in soon after, gives Akari a cheerful good morning, and announces that he's finished getting breakfast ready for them. Akari spends the entirety of said breakfast on Gris's lap getting hand-fed by both of her new partners. Volo's a little put out that she's not on his lap but he settles for stealing kisses and sighing about how perfect she is (Gris readily agrees).

Needless to say it's all very surreal for Akari and she keeps wondering if this is all a dream (but if it is she never wants it to end).

I had an idea. (That I will not be able to fit in one ask)

Thanks to her (absolutely dogshit) mother, Dawn has extreme social anxiety, preventing her from talking to others. Delayed her pokemon journey by 6 years, but she eventually does go on it. Throughout her adventure, Cynthia tried to help, but to no avail.

Then the Distortion World happens, and Dawn gets a much needed therapy pokemon: Giratina. Giratina takes it as an excuse to leave the Distortion World for a while, and the depressed distortion wyrm up helping Dawn break through her social anxiety!

Oooh, oh I like the concept of Giratina as her unintentional therapy pokémon! I think they'd be very good for each other, especially since I imagine Dawn having a lot of emotional regulation/anger issues due to her childhood as well (and as we all know Giratina is very familiar with that and can relate)

YES GOOD. Volo and Akari decked out in Red Chain-inspired body jewelry, both as a way for Gris to be romantic and give a middle finger to Arceus.

Gris is liberally using it to drag either of their angels into their lap

Oooooh yes good, but may I also suggest: chains. Lots of pretty golden body chains for Gris to tug on and toy with.

(And of course since Gris owns both of their lovers' souls they can probably conjure some spectral chains to act as a leash at a moment's notice)

Ohohohoho I like where your mind is going. Fallen angel Akari deserves to have a slutty leather get-up. Volo too, honestly. And Gris.

Basically all of them deserve to wear clothes that are at least 60% bondage gear and show an ungodly amount of skin is what I'm saying.

Oh of course!! Naturally Volo is here to show her the ropes… perhaps literally, shibari fun! I do think he takes pleasure in having some (even if temporary) measure of power over a formerly higher ranked angel than he had been.

Course from what a dazed Akari has yapped about being higher rank meant way way more responsibilities than the practically ignored lower ranks so maybe he got off easy…

Yessss... Volo's absolutely exploiting this power he has over her and loving every second of it...

I actually like to think that Volo and Akari knew each other as angels before they fell. My loose thought is that Akari was secretly in love with him but too restricted by her role/duties to act on it, and Volo was too blinded by his resentment over her being chosen as "Arceus's Champion" to notice how much she cared for him. Eventually he got sick of feeling overlooked and let Gris corrupt him away from Arceus.

And who knows, maybe that's what planted the eventual seed for Akari's own corruption. Maybe seeing Volo fall caused her to question her own beliefs and wonder if she really wanted to stay in heaven. Maybe when Gris reached out to her with those honeyed promises she considered it because it meant she could reunite with the man she loved...

Something to be said about the potential for Halos being the primary sensory organ of an angel

So breaking said halo effectively forces her to be reliant on them, and they’re just such a good caretaker for their newly fallen helpless angel

OOOOOOH oh I love that. Gris reassures Akari that she'll regain those senses eventually, once she adjusts to her new role as a demon and her infernal powers start coming in. But until then they're happy to keep her as a little lap pet to dote on (and really, there's a part of her that thinks it might just be better this way...)

Also if I may suggest: Volo being present as Akari's "fallen angel senpai" who was corrupted by Gris a long time ago and has already gone through all this, so he's just as happy to reassure her that the "helpless" period will pass and she'll get to be powerful again before she knows it. And of course he'll be the one teaching her how to properly use those new powers~

To be more specific i don’t think they’d snap it by just wrenching it in two, it’s much more hot (and deeply overwhelming) if they start by running a clawed finger around it to make it sing and Akari whimper. Then they take what at first is a gentle hold of it before squeezing tighter and tighter until the halo, and Akari, crumble beneath their power.

The halo then is drenched in inky distortion energy to fashion it into the lovely little collar that Akari won’t ever be taking off again.

HNNNNNGGHH YES GOOD PLEASE

Also imagine all this happening after a long while of Gris essentially seducing her to the dark side. Akari having held out and resisted before she finally caved to their promises. Still wondering in the back of her mind if this is the right choice, still having some doubts, especially when Gris's claw traces her halo and she can feel the way it burns.

Gris murmuring to her that it's alright. They know it hurts. But she's making the right choice, they promise. She'll be so much happier once that pesky halo is dealt with. So won't she just be good and sit still a moment longer? Won't she just trust them to take care of her?

And just when it feels like it's too much, the halo finally breaks. And the sense of relief is so overpowering that she collapses into their arms. At which point Gris smiles and purrs about how good she was for them, before fashioning her new collar around her throat.

She still wonders if she made the right choice. But it's hard to feel bad about it when it feels so good to give in.

Angel Akari

She’s very unsteady afterward so there’s lots of time spend very attached to them

You know funnily enough I woke up today with the words "Pirate AU" and "Fallen Angel AU" both beckoning to me like the proverbial angel and devil on my shoulder (you can probably tell from the art I posted which of them won).

Anyways a fallen angel Akari AU would be a ton of fun tho, and OH LORD do I like the image of Giratina snapping her halo and turning it into a collar. That's fucking galaxy brain. Yes good more of that please.
