More isometric. Made last month
Building the tower
Something else to share
3rd challenge of the first week of Get Off My Ass Month. Draw a page full texture of a birch tree, then copy/paste parts of the texture in shape of a tree. Then add some shadow. Not a bad way to work.
My second Get Off My A## Month drawing. Challenge is 30 minutes, 3 trees, using 3 brushes. This time I did not only try to create bark texture, but also the shape. Got a little more time per tree, and it shows. Speed isn’t everything.
Lately, I’ve been lazy. I didn’t draw much, didn’t take care of myself too well, so I decided to make February a Get Off My A## Month. My idea is to do things that make me feel better. Drawing is one thing, I will do that at least 3 times per week. I gave myself a challenge: draw 5 trees (or the texture) in 30 minutes... It’s a start at least.
Last two week I’ve been sketching...but not sharing.Â
Here is one I made around the new year.
P.S. The entrance of the tower is on the other side ;P
Should I still call it a daily sketch when it has been two weeks since I sketched last?Â
Today I wasn't able to draw with Photoshop, so I sketched some things the "old fashioned" way. Pen and paper. But serious, I love to work that way.
Time for my daily sketch. I’ve gonna post what I did, even if it’s not ready.Â
Today I saw the base of the Dom tower in Utrecht from my window, and wanted to draw it. Doors, windows and big cornerstones are still missing. Maybe another day.Â
Could’ve worked longer on it, but that is not the point of this “sketches”.
I can’t say I am extremely happy, with the end result, BUT, I also learned things.Â
Another block of stone. Trying to learn to draw better (and faster) rocks and stones.
Got inspired by Sephiroth Art:Â https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-j7dp5M5wic
