my favourite characters are Midoriya, Todoroki, Shinsou, Uraraka, and the whole dekusquad tbh. but I love a lot of other characters too so I'll probably draw them relatively often as well :)

it's surprisingly REALLY hard to find merfolk outfits that don't just use normal fabric, but eventually I found some inspiration for some cool more natural-looking clothing pieces!! ^^
also most of the design choices here were just vibes - I'm not sure how easy it is to tell, but Midoriya's 'freckles' and Todoroki's 'scar' are patches of scales too! why? because it sounded cool kfdsgd <3
it's definitely not my fave drawing ever, but drawing mermaids is still really fun and it was also cool adding all of those little details and design choices :)
I've lowkey ALWAYS wanted to draw some fantasy au art, so I'm SO happy I finally did it!!! ^^
I was planning on writing fics for this event, not drawing much, but... I have been hit with both writer's block and a sudden surge of motivation to draw, so I guess most of my entries are going to be art lol!

as you can see, I ended up drawing them earlier on (i.e. no Midoriya face scar) since lowkey I am still not even close to properly caught up to canon even though I am literally co-running a theme week for this fandom dhjgdk. to be fair, this whole thing was Counterfeit's brainchild, I'm here since I have more experience running events! and because he has been sending tododeku stuff to me for years and thus keeping me thinking about them despite my lagging lol :)
We noticed there aren't many fan events about these two anymore, so we decided to make our own!!

Any type of fanwork is allowed! Fanfiction, fanart, and/or whatever other fanwork you can think up are all accepted!
Any depiction of this relationship including platonic is allowed, your fanwork does not need to be romantic! It just needs to be primarily centered around Midoriya and Todoroki :)
When posting on here, use #tododekuweek2026 !! There is also an ao3 collection called tododekuweek2026 that you will be able to post under as well!! You can use that hashtag on other sites as well, of course, but we won't be monitoring any of them
You can enter for as few or as many prompts or days as you want, and can choose one prompt for a day or attempt to combine multiple. We will also accept late entries!
