“I literally just walked passed some pear-shaped girl trying to pull off a flapper dress,” A huge fashion faux pas if Tilly’s over exaggerated shuddering was anything to go by, “And I almost told her before I decided that it wasn’t even worth wasting my breath.” She had to wonder just who had let their children out like that. Had their mothers really told them they looked pretty and took pictures proudly? Were they blind? “Seriously it’s like these girls have never even heard of Vogue,” She said her eyes returning from scanning the room to Ren, trying not to think of what an awful life that must be.
When it came down to it, Ren wasn’t nearly as savage. She didn’t really care what other people wore as long as she could wear what she wanted to wear. But again, if there was a theme, people at least needed to stick with it. Otherwise, what was the point of the theme. Her hair was pulled behind around her face, only to show off her earrings. “Ew,” Ren replied. ‘Yeah, no. that’s not worth anyone’s time.” Ren wanted to dance, but not without someone asking her first. She looked at Tilly’s outfit again, comparing it to the rest of the room and really there was no comparison. Ren knew she looked pretty. But her green dress and jade colored accessories were nothing on her friend. “A real shame. I don’t know what I’d do without Vogue.”
