You are allowed to :

Have stuffies with no names/personalities

Have stuffies who are just toys and you dont see them as friends or sibbies or alive etc

Have one stuffie whose soul/name goes in between plushies!! I do this a lot because my main comfort plushie is too big to take with me so her soul can move between plushies :] sometimes she is a dog, sometimes she is a monkey, sometimes she is a giraffe...

Have multiple doubles of the same kind of toy

People whose toys have toys (i.e. my doll has plushies!)

Prefer dolls or figurines or other hard plastic toys rather than soft plushies

Keep your toys on display and dont really take them down or physically play with them (they dont mind this!! In fact they enjoy relaxing :] )

Give names/personalities to toys that technically wouldnt have them (like cars)

Form bonds or play with things that aren't toys, like sticks, pet rocks, etc, or even electronics like phones or laptops!

Also, touching on the theme from earlier, people who dont have typical rules for toys, such as: my toy can come with me in spirit even if I cant actually bring them, my toy and I communicate telepathically or in another nonverbal way, my plushie's soul isnt bound to a plush body and can jump into electronics or figurines, etc

Customize your toys with paint, patches, embroidery, dye, etc

Accessorise your toys or make them clothes and that's how you play with them !!

Prefer not to play with others, or for people to not touch your toys! That's very fair!

Have toys who are characters from a specific media, but you customize them to make them look different, give them a different name, give them a different story, etc

🐅 . . . ☆ Yes autistic play looks different, but "different" doesn't just mean the "amount of weird the public can tolerate", and play can be anything!! The idea is that it's fun for YOU ( nd whoever else plays with you! ) What doesn't look fun to you might be a blast for someone else ! Keeping an open mind will make playing fun !

Remember to share and keep gentle hands with others things, and also to be kind about the way that others play!! Our differences make us good friends :] 🦋

Hey shout out to those who have unconventional interests while regressed. I feel like it's not talked about enough. Of course there's wonderful things about all forms of regression! But a lot of what I see in terms of "how to find your littlespace voluntarily" is "watch stuff from your childhood! Color and play with plushies" and that's all awesome!! but it's not gonna be a hit with everyone

So! Shoutouts to

Regressors who find comfort in media that isn't made for kids,

Regressors who seek out nostalgic media from different time periods than their childhood (80s, 90s, 2000s, etc)

Regressors who avoid specific childhood media because it's triggering or doesn't interest them

Regressors whose hobbies don't really change much when regressed! Regressors who continue to write, play games, roleplay, cook/bake, crochet, etc!

Regressors who struggle with vulnerability!

Regressors with intense special interests/hyperfixations!

Regressors who don't like being infantalized/talked down to!

Regressors who like to daydream instead of higher energy activities!
