I like to think that after T2, Renton adopted a shelter dog and goes on jogs w him every morning. Renton and that dog would be inseparable. I would go as far to say that he sees himself in that shelter dog, and having someone with him during his runs makes it alot less about satisfying a need and more about enjoying the experience.
