The irony of life is that sometimes you get exactly what you wished for all these years ago and suddenly it’s not enough to make you happy. Suddenly, it does not live up to your expectations or your surroundings have changed so much that that desperate wish you used to harbour so close your heart just doesn’t fit anymore. Then letting go is our next challenge, moving on and finding something new to wish for.

And maybe, if we are brave enough to chase what we want so badly, if we fight for it and are consistent in our efforts, we will get it right at the exact point of time we need it. But please don’t make the easy mistake of thinking that this is how we define happiness - please make sure that you find a bit of joy on the way to making these wishes come true, not only after you crossed the finish line. We often miss out on the kind of happiness that is concealed in the little things and in the small moments because we are busy waiting for the next big thing to happen. Watch out for the kind of happiness that comes easy and remember to make a couple of wishes along the way.
