Me and my friend @willuplzbequiet were talking about the fact that korra hasn’t reached our expectations (we love her, but the idea of a new avatar was really awesome) So, we made the desing of Mai Anoki :)
We like our choruses sung together,
We like our arms in our brothers' arms

We're never going home until the sun says we're finished,
I'll love you forever if I ever love at all
Imnek was born to Anyu and Kessuk in the Southern Water Tribe. When he was nine years old, his parents, along with his Aunt Sedna and Uncle Kallik, decided it was too dangerous to live in the South Pole anymore, and fled northward. Their goal was to make it to the Northern Water Tribe, rumored to be one of the last strongholds against the Fire Nation, and live with Sedna’s family. The family managed to make it as far as the Fire Nation’s western Earth Kingdom colonies, but settled in the interest of Anyu’s health, who was eight months pregnant. Anaaya was born, and the family decided to settle in the colonies temporarily, working until they could save up enough money to complete their trip.
Ten years went by with the family closely monitoring the political climate, hoping for better circumstances for their journey. In that time, the relations between nations had only worsened, and organized crime among the Fire Nation population in the colonies had grown. Anaaya’s uncle, Kallik, owned a corner store and fended off the local Triad’s attempts at extortion for years until he was killed. After that, the family realized there would never be a perfect time to go to the Northern Tribe, and within a year Kessuk and Imnek left, leaving Anyu, Sedna, and Anaaya to continue their life in the Colony and await word that their passage and new home are secure. Months went by with no message, until word spread through the neighborhood that a cargo ship full of stowaways to the North had been captured by the Fire Nation. After weeks of anxious conversations at the market and daily visits to the municipal police station, Anyu discovered that her husband and son had in fact been captured, and were most likely taken to a Fire Nation prison on the northern ridge of the Earth Kingdom.
Five years later, the Avatar returned and the war was over. In those five years, Anyu and Sedna had grown wearier, but still held hope that the family could be reunited. Many Earth Kingdom prisoners had already been released, but even after a year there was still no word on the missing Water Tribe men. In that time, Anaaya had befriended Gopan, a boy from the Earth Kingdom family that bought her uncle’s old store. At sixteen, she was cynical and harbored a lot of anger towards the Fire Nation, but clung fiercely to the memories of her father and brother.
Name: Anaaya
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Nation: Southern Water Tribe, Fire Nation colonies/Repub City
Personality: Cynical, holds grudges, loyal to family and friends, sharp temper & wit, stubborn, strong connection to culture, friendly & empathetic to other refugees, more cautious than Gopan, intuitive, punctual, can be abrasive
Appearance: height: 5′5″, weight: 200 lbs, Southern Water tribe ethnicity, thick build, darker skinned, blue eyes, dark brown hair (hip-length braid)

Weaknesses: Easily antagonized, not great fighter
Family: Mother and Aunt both more reserved, but both resilient and strong willed. Mother is very spiritual person, always reminding her to “thank the spirits.” Learned healing from aunt, who also shares Water Tribe stories. Mom doesn’t want her to fight, but helps her, along with Sedna, to learn waterbending, since she sees it as an important cultural element. Dad, a nonbender, is more impatient/impulsive than mom, and gives Anaaya her witty sense of humor and fierce loyal streak. Brother is more like mom, grew more serious and driven in prison, a talented waterbender- Anaaya idolizes him, but their relationship is distant once he returns to the colonies.
Mother: Anyu
Father: Kessuk
Bother: Imnek
Uncle: Kallik
Aunt: Sedna
Other: Carries a strong prejudice against the Fire Nation, best waterbending move is the water whip (can’t do much else, fightingwise), tries to train with Gopan but struggles to translate earthebending to water bender, gets up to shenanigans a lot, does ok in school but not very book-smart, has little faith in the Avatar
