Taylor, I know we’ve all made a lot of fun and funny text posts and I laughed so hard I cried during much of this video, but the “world’s best dad” part really got me good.  In front of others, my ex used to put on this big song and dance and act very, VERY much like that. I would worry I was the inferior parent because people would say “oh what a great dad he is!” Meanwhile, he’d barely pay my son any attention at home and when it came time for divorce decided that the hard parts of parenting weren’t for him- it’s now been years since he has seen or heard from him (and people here have loooong since realized he wasn’t who he said), and Leyton is doing JUST fine without “the man”, but it really hit home. Thank you, thank YOU for pointing out that gross double standard.
