MATENROU OPERA’S YU TO LEAVE THE BAND IN MARCH.

Thank you so much for always supporting Matenrou Opera. Today at the Club Junk Box live on the 2.4.2018 in Sendai, it was announced that drummer Yu is withdrawing from Matenrou Opera.

For a long time now, drummer Yu has been undergoing treatments for his condition called occupational dystonia. His left hand/arm has been suffering for a long time and his left-hand does not move any longer. There are no official treatments or modern medicine for dystonia, and a lot of efforts have been done and performed to try and improve this condition of Yu. Sadly, due to no improvement, it has been decided that Yu will withdraw from the band based on how he feels and it is his decision, we hope you can respect and accept this.

The 10th anniversary, PANTHEON TOUR -Overture- FINAL March 2nd at EX THEATER ROPPONGI will be the very last performance with Drummer Yu present.

We are so sorry for the sudden announcement, but hope you can understand.
