Ilyrana pulled the hood of her large fur cloak up over her head, as snow began falling. She was laughing as Farkas and Ria joked about their past encounters in Winterhold. The petite Bosmer had never visited Winterhold or its college before, and it was an interesting change from the southern holds. "So, shall we find the inn and sta-" Suddenly she tripped in the folds of the cloak and went flying trough the air into the arms of a Redguard, who caught her just before she hit the ground. "My goodness, I am so sorry! I didn't mean to-..." Her voice faded as she felt a sudden warmth grow in her chest.

She looked down, and a faint light was emerging from beneath her skin. "Wha-what?" The faint light became brighter, and the red light was shining through the many layers of clothing. "S..Sir? What's happening?" She noticed that the same kind of light was shining through the stranger's chest, and she looked at him with a horrified expression.

"Why you? I... I don't even know you!" her face was a deep shade of red, and she pulled away from him. "Are we.... Soulmates?" she whispered, her face flustered. Ria and Farkas stood there, staring at the two. This was not something they'd expected to find, on their trip to Winterhold.
