[[Sorry for lack of responses. Work has been kicking my ass. If I have the motivation tomorrow morning then I'll try and do something."
@researcher-larch said: "You wouldn't happen to have any shiny objects on you, would you?"
"You think they want my void cube?" he holds the cube that normally hung from his belt high in the air, and yes, the Pokémon all seemed excited by it.
"It wouldn't surprise me. Nikit do like to collect shiny objects whenever they can." Sam observed the little fox Pokémon paw at the cube in admiration.
"It also wouldn't be a terrible idea to check your pockets as well."
((Ok I might be brainstorming for a calyrex blog now))
"Ah, That's good." Sam followed behind the pair, while Yiggy followed him.
It was a bit of a pain to walk through the blizzard. Sam was thoroughly out of practice with hiking through snow. He used to be a lot better back when he regularly went to Snowpoint and Mt. Coronet.
"You cool with letting me stay?" Sam wanted to make sure he wasn't intruding on anything.
⠀“ not much of a choice, ”⠀he forces the words out past the scarf, pulling it taut once more.⠀there was little other choice for sam, in conditions like these;⠀he just hopes his house doesn't seem unkempt to a guest.
⠀the remainder of their walk is quiet, each minute feeling closer to an hour the longer they trudge through building snow.⠀but, before too much longer, beartic stops and huffs a great cloud through its nostrils.
⠀we're home.
⠀grusha barely noticed, face bowed to keep the gusts from blowing directly into it.⠀everything was numb enough.
⠀“ it's unlocked—⠀h - head on in. ”
"A-Alright, thanks." Sam quickly ushered himself inside. Yiggy however elected to stay outside.
Either Yiggy preferred the outside cold or he didn't want to try and fit into Grusha's home. He usually preferred it to be cold anyways.
Sam looked around Grusha's abode and started to shed some of his layers. "So do you just live out here with your Pokémon? I can't imagine what you would do for work out here."
((I finally played the SwSh dlc after three years and it really makes me want to make a calyrex blog tbh
Like this for Yiggy to randomly give your muse so berries! (multimuses will be random unless specified)
"Fair enough." Sam agreed with the stranger. He knew that talking in this blizzard was going to be a pain and it would be great to get somewhere he could feel his toes.
Yiggy looked the Beartic up and down to get a good vibe on the Pokémon. He could tell that mon for alert and cautious around him. He fully understood why. If a Pokémon he didn't know tried to get Sam to follow them. He would be defensive too. Yiggy gave the Beartic a nod and continued walking.
"So do you live c-close by? I could hardly imagine living in a place like this." Sam shivered as he continued to follow behind.
⠀snow crunches underneath beartic's paws with each step;⠀this seems to be done on purpose, putting his weight into it, to give yet another cue to the others of where he was.
⠀“ I do, yeah. ”
⠀he truly can't judge anybody for finding the location of his home a bit . . .⠀cumbersome.⠀glaseado had a city, someplace a bit more populated than what was practically in the middle of nowhere, but that simply wasn't where he ended up residing.
⠀“ . . . you see? ”⠀he points forward, leaning beside beartic to see past him a little, towards faint lights just barely shining through the fog.⠀“ we're a - almost there. ”

Does Sam use normal poke balls for capturing his Pokémon? Or does he use specialized ones?
Sam uses regular civilian Pokéballs for any and all capturing he may do. Granted it is very rare for him to attempt to catch a Pokémon in general. He only ever does it to catch some new Pokémon if he ever visits a new region.
The front of the tent opened up and Sam stepped out in his full winter outfit. "Alright, Considering how bad it's gotten. I guess I'll return after everything calms down to grab the tent."
Sam zipped up his tent and walked up to Yiggy who walked with him up towards Grusha and the Beartic. "Geez... Never thought I'd see a Beartic as big as Yiggy. Usually Beartics are the bigger mons but Yiggy towers over most of them too."
⠀beartic's eyes exchange a few cautious glances yiggy's way;⠀this towering form was familiar, and he suspects it may have been what he was growling at an hour prior.⠀however . . .⠀he senses no hostility from them, and can recognize now that the abomasnow was a helper, not a threat.
⠀still, he remains on - guard.
⠀“ he's a l - little taller than some, yeah. ”⠀with another shudder, he turns back the way they came.⠀it's time to get moving, but grusha will be glancing over his shoulder, listening for footsteps, to make sure they're being followed.
⠀“ and you can tell me about . . .⠀whatever it is you were looking for out here when we get inside. ”⠀would have a hard time convincing him it was worth risking frostbite for, though.

Sam glanced around outside. He realized that he, infact, couldn't see more then ten feet in front of him. He couldn't really even see the person he was talking too. He could only kind of make out the silhouette of Yiggy and it was usually hard to miss them.
".... O-O-O-Ok you might have a point but I don't know if there is any hotel nearby. Well I g-g-guess there might be a town or something nearby if Yiggy was able to drag someone out here to tell me off." Sam quipped as he closed up the tent.
"I'll get my boots on and grab some of my stuff. You win Yiggy. You abominable bastard..." Yiggy gave the tent another love slap as Sam got himself ready.
⠀thank goodness.⠀that's all he can really say, now that the tedious part is over.
⠀“ my house is near enough.⠀montenevera is further away, but . . .⠀not impossibly so. ”
⠀grusha feels around in his pocket while he waits, retrieving a ball clasped tightly in his hand.⠀when he clicks the button, something nearly as large as yiggy emerges, standing like a tower against the bitter winds — shielding him, almost.
⠀the snow's coming down thick enough to cloak their footprints, erasing the chance of finding the path back home alone.⠀but beartic had a keen sense of smell, and even in this blizzard can he smell home.
⠀“ l . . .⠀let me know when you're ready.⠀we'll be following him back, s - so stay close. ”

"S-Sorry, but I can't afford to leave! If I go into town, I'll miss the opportunity to see an a-a-articuno in the wild." Sam was very clearly shivering. His face poking out off his layers of sleeping bags. His entire was was clearly red.
Yiggy just shook his head at his trainer's stubborness. He was hoping that since Grusha lived close by. They could convince Sam to at least go inside somewhere.
⠀who'd come out here during a blizzard just to see a pokémon?⠀he could barely even see the abomasnow a few meters away, but something supposedly far up in the sky . . . ?
⠀“ you know you won't be able to see anything if you get hypothermia, right? ”
⠀a weary sigh, the air bitter in his lungs.⠀keep your cool.
⠀“ look . . .⠀I can't leave you out here by yourself, not with your pokémon clearly worrying over you.⠀you can go back to it when the storm is over, but it's way too cold for this now.⠀please. ”
⠀it's not just sam that's stuck in the frigid temps, waiting for him to get over that stubbornness—⠀like hell is he turning tail and leaving when one hour more out here could easily spell this man's doom.

"H-Huh?" Shuffling could be heard from inside the now flipped over tent. The zipper on the front of the tent opened to reveal a twenty something bundled up in at least three layers of sleeping bags.
"What are you d-d-doing out here? It's increadibly dangerous out h-h-here you know. Yiggy let off a loud groan as rustled the tent again. It was very clear that the Abomasnow was annoyed at their trainers' stubborn refusal to go somewhere warm.
Yiggy looked at Grusha with desperate eyes. It was clear what Yiggy needed help with now.
⠀“ I could be asking you the same. ”
⠀sleeping bags?⠀it was better than no layers at all, but seriously?⠀grusha almost grumbles under his breath now that he can see the predicament, shuddering under multiple layers once he was no longer walking.⠀he needs to head home, and soon.
⠀“ you're telling me it's dangerous, but you're out here in camping gear . . . ”
⠀oh, the exasperation.⠀he doesn't blame this abomasnow now for clearly being aggravated itself.
⠀“ look . . .⠀you need to head somewhere warm.⠀you will get into trouble out here. ”
⠀no ifs, ands or buts.⠀it was less of a question and more of a demand;⠀thus, he offers a mittened hand, hoping they'll at least accept it and try to climb out of the tent.⠀if all else fails, beartic could make quick work of dragging more than one person back home — but even he would be scoffing up a storm about it.

Yiggy had a small smile hidden behind it's pine beard. Luckily, they were getting closer to where they were needed.
As the pair crested one last hill, Yiggy pointed at what looked like a lump in the snow. "Snooooow." That was their goal.
Yiggy lead Grusha to the lump but as they got closer to it. Grusha realized that it was actually a tent. Snow had covered a big chunk of it.
"Snow!" Yiggy grunted as he slapped the side of the tent like an annoyed trainer trying to get a skitty off a counter.
"aaliehkjanlsdhfiyavb! Yiggy! W-W-W-What the hell!?" A voice came from inside the tent. The voice was male and clearly shivering.
⠀he's beyond relieved when they seem to have reached their destination;⠀the combination of stormy winds, impromptu hiking and night's unrelenting cold meant he was bound to be feeling it down to his bones tomorrow.
⠀happy birthday to him, he supposes.
⠀“ what is . . . ”⠀he starts to ask, but falls silent when he sees some fabric beneath the accumulated frost.⠀someone's trying to camp out here?
⠀“ h - hey!⠀you okay in there? ”
⠀incredibly stupid to set up camp in the mountains, let alone before dangerous weather, but he can get on their case for recklessness later.⠀for now, he needs to make sure this abomasnow didn't lead him to an injured traveler.

The shadow of the great Abomasnow loomed outside Grusha's house. Even from just it's silhouette in the snow; it was clear that it wasn't just a normal Abomasnow. It stood tall, bulkier then it's distant relatives in paldea.
Once Yiggy noticed that it had gotten the attention of the residents of the small home. He raised on of it's massive arms to further draw attention to itself.
"Snooooow..." They let out a low grumbling cry that could be heard over the howling winds.
It then pointed it's arm away from the house into the blizzard. He hoped that the Pokémon and the human knew what he was trying to say.
⠀he knew the pokémon up on this mountain well, and its shape was not an unfamiliar one.⠀its size, however, was nearly unheard of—⠀meters away from his home, yet standing tall as a mountain from his level.
⠀it's . . .⠀a bit recognizable, now that he can see it a little more clearly.⠀was it . . . ?
⠀though he remained where he stood, cautious, it didn't seem aggressive—⠀thank arceus for that.⠀it raises its bulky arms in the air and waves, a far cry from a typical angry abomasnow puffing its fur out and propping down on four paws.⠀the bellow it can emit in its threat display is one he'd love to never hear again.
⠀“ does it . . .⠀want something? ”
⠀that's the best idea he can conjure up when it catches his eye, then points away, further into the growing blizzard.⠀this is stupid, he thinks to himself as a boot presses into the snow, one step away from his home.⠀away from safety, away from warmth.⠀you're just a human, what much can you do for something in need in weather like this?
⠀but something in him is telling him to follow.⠀and with his hand still gripping beartic's ball, never fully letting his guard down, he comes just a little closer.
⠀“ I'm . . .⠀I'm coming with you, ”⠀he calls out, hoping it can hear him over the wind.⠀“ don't go too far. ”
Abomasnow watched as someone left the small house and began to walk towards him. As the human got closer, he recognized them. They were that trainer who took care of that cetoddle that he had gifted some berries too. Hopefully they could help him with his situation.
"Snowwww..." Yiggy nodded to Grusha as he began walking with purpose to somewhere out in the snow. Before they got too far into the trek. Yiggy reached into the it's piney body and pulls out an aspear berry. He attempts to hand it to Grusha before continuing the journey.

⠀today should've settled down calmly.⠀he was ready to wrap the evening up, hunkering down for the night in the warmth, wind picking up outdoors yet going ignored.⠀but maybe he did jinx it all earlier—⠀today did turn out nicer than usual, a foolish mistake pointing that out hours prior.
⠀beartic's been eyeing something in the window, and grusha wasn't too concerned until he started to growl.⠀he doesn't bare his fangs for no reason, and when grusha peeks out past the flurry sticking to the glass, he swears he sees something, too.⠀something that warrants throwing his layers back on to go investigate, stepping outside with his team safely in his pocket.⠀self - defense, if need be.
⠀when he comes outside, it's unbearably frigid.⠀the snowfall conceals like a thick fog, and his brows furrow against the bitter winds, frost sticking to his hair.⠀a storm was brewing tonight;⠀frosmoth's ball shuddered in his pocket, tempted to break free and scold him for going out now.

Yiggy approaches Grusha and offers him a handful of berries. Do you accept?
⠀“ hm? ”
⠀you don't see that everyday.⠀abomasnow usually kept to themselves, so . . .⠀why would one approach him just to give him berries?⠀would it be offended if he just . . .⠀tucked them into his pocket?
⠀ponchik is by his side again, and when the cetoddle witnesses a familiar face coming close, he starts to coo that happy sound grusha knows well by now.⠀sounds like he made a friend when he wasn't looking.
⠀“ eh?⠀do you know them, ponchik? ”
Yiggy gave a content grunt as he watched grusha put the berries in his pocket. He was not offended. He was just glad the boy took the berries.
Yiggy then turned to the cetoddle and gave the little one a few pats on the head. He was glad that this little one had found a good trainer.
Yiggy then nodded to Grusha before turning around and walking back into the snow.
