Thank you to everyone who prayed for my second grader last week. Let me tell you how good my God is. How about this brilliant sweet little girl came to school today smiling and ready to learn! She's still bandaged up, so she is taking it easy. I almost rot when I saw her! She said the hospital staff told her she was the bravest kid in there. She believed it and is recovering quickly. Praise God!

One of my second grade students was shot last weekend while walking with her family in her neighborhood. She is in the hospital, her condition is stable. A suspect was arrested. I'm thankful she's still here. In just hurt for her that this happened in the first place. I was going to paint something happy, however tonight I'm just not in the mood. #liveart #secondgrader #wednesdayverses
