In 2023 I began a fic. A radical fic. A fic I’m not sure even in 2025 still has much support but I’m writing it anyways.

A RE7 fix it. But not just any fix it. Radical. We get rid of Ethan Winters and his family for…Jill Valentine. Yes, Jill. And a female OC. Will detail more about OC below.

Just as important is we retcon 7 to before 0-6, not after. 1996. Two years before Arkay/Raccoon City.

Jill is a Delta Force Operator on recruitment to S.T.A.R.S, but the Baker House is her ‘initiation’. On search for Florence ‘Flo’ Jones, a Florida model who goes missing in the bayou of Louisiana.

Anyways RE7 is one of my least favorite games ever, maybe it’s me not appreciating what it was trying to do after the hate 6 got or something, maybe it’s Ethan, maybe it’s the little to no connection with past games let alone past characters. I don’t know, but it just isn’t for me nor is Village. Hence my attempt to overhaul it. I’m now 6 chapters into this fix it, I took over a year off and now I’m willing to get back into it. Guess I got stuck or burnt out, idk.
