Wesker getting to be part of the trials against Umbrella is so interesting to me, because I think he doesn’t even really think about WHY he hates Umbrella, on an emotional level.

It’s very unlikely his guardians gave him a choice, when he was selected by Umbrella at 16-17 to become part of it, given that he was part of project W and Spencer was canonically ‘keeping an eye on him’.

He learns the full extent of what he will be doing by being shown Lisa, before he or Birkin were ever aware of the existence of the progenitor or BOWs, and he remarks internally that either they will succeed in what Spencer wants or end up like her.

It’s only one brief line and not really defined in WHEN it was happening, but he was also killing people for Spencer, as ordered, essentially being his assassin on top of his job.

And if he bothered to try to convince Will to leave with him, and then tried to save him during the outbreak, I don’t doubt he was pissed about what happened to him.

I think if he were to be asked why he hated Umbrella, he wouldn’t really be able to answer. He would intellectualise it as wanting to ruin them because that was the best course of action to erase his own involvement and what info they had on him, and to please his new employers.

But, in truth, there was always a lot of bile and resentment he held for Umbrella when he speaks of them, and it would be more obvious to people around him that he is relieved that they are done for, than it is to him.

All of Alyssas outfits and her dialogue suggest she's extremely active. She's out there running marathons. she's got a mystery street fighter outfit???? She's constantly working out. She's weightlifting at the end of file 2. She's one of the strongest in the cast health-wise. She's kind of a freak about being physically fit. She may have been a hooker at some point or undercover with RC's hookers. She was definitely a hooker.

It's just FUN.

Losing both her parents and her grandmother so she has little close family, shot in a domestic dispute and not believed by the masses despite going through a harrowing trial that WASN'T EVEN HERS, constantly sexually harassed and mocked by endless scores of jealous stinky men on the internet with AI and meme sexual photos, let down by half of the pick me women in the rap game friend and foe alike, every man she's dated has turned out to be some sort of loser, hater, or cheater because they're so insecure around her blessings...

And she STILL SHOWS UP! Runs a mental health program because she's admitted to depression and suicidal ideation from her own traumas. Has really succeeded at every business venture. Coined "Hot Girl Summer" and now every dork on the planet has done a variation on it, not that they credited her. I wouldn't blame Meg in the slightest if she said fuck all y'all I'm moving to Japan to retire.

Like... I can't imagine NOT loving Black women and not respecting Megan. She is That Girl. I will root for her forever.
