People calling Mailin boring before the season even starts is crazy to me??? Like what about Fatou and Isi other than more screen time made them more captivating?? A lot of people for starters don’t like her because she isn’t a poc and she doesn’t identify queer, which is already on its own weird, and a lot of people don’t like her because they don’t know anything about her. And that’s without the handful of people angry at druck for making another romance oriented season when that’s what they’ve BEEN doing.

I’m sorry but last I checked the point of us getting a new main is for us to get to know them, and being completely opposed to getting to know Mailin kind of defeats the purpose of the show. And also, the season is here, no amount of hate comments is going to suddenly reverse that.

I’m glad we’re finally going to get to be introduced to Mailin properly and not have her as an occasional member of the group anymore, also it doesn’t hurt to be shown a different perspective on high school romance if that’s the route the show will take, because remember being asexual ≠ being aromatic. And being in a relationship ≠ solely sexual intimacy.

I must say I miss the times when I would immediately jump to tumblr after watching the newest druck clip and everyone would be excited and there'd be lots of gifs and theorys. now everyone is just so damn negative. I get it, Ava would've probably been the better main but why do so many feel the need to still watch the show if they are so unhappy and complain all the time? I love Druck and it will always be special to me and it breaks my heart that the actors and the whole team get so much hate.

In my opinion the rewinded shots are still a strange artistic choice. But I think it’s obvious they try to symbolise how Isi and Sascha are sucked right back to reality, because with them the lights and pacing change, suddenly some surrounding noises are audible and people appear outta nowhere.

So, I guess we are in Isi’s head but rather because of what Isi focuses on (at first only Sascha) than it being a dream sequence that Isi imagined.
