Introduction Post

Hey there, my name's Rin (they/them)! I like to go looking for dead stuff and make things with what I find. I'm based in East Texas, but I sell most of my wares at a brick and mortar oddity shop called BelovedBonesOKC, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Most of my posts will be about my collection, so stuff that's available for purchase will be clearly marked with the phrase "For Sale" or "Available" along with a price. Feel free to DM me if you have questions about my work, buying things, or how I source my specimens! I'm very active on Instagram under the same username.

A project I've been working on lately.

Learned how to make paper at home. Conducted a number of tests. Tried to dye paper with natural dyes. And I also made frames for this case.

I already have experience with linocut. But this is the first time on homemade paper.

Very happy with the result! :3 I enjoyed making paper and printing. Lots of experience!

Finally back from my vacation, so that means Lorenzo is officially available! He's a semi-posable rabbit with quail wings for ears. Lorenzo has a wired spine and limbs, but the rest is filled with cotton so he's still plush and squishable. Perfect for photoshoots and as a shelf piece, but equally comforting to hold and cuddle with! Sad to see him go, but I have way too many future projects that I'll be keeping. I'm selling him for 💲2️⃣7️⃣5️⃣ + shipping

This (not so) little coyote guy SOLD for 💲1️⃣9️⃣0️⃣! As always, I waited until the very last second to snap actual pictures of him.

I really love his expression and I think that my claywork has definitely improved (although my lip line still needs a lot of work). Only thing I'm sad about is the insane amount of slippage on his brisket area that I tried patching up with feathers.
