A Course in Miracles
It doesn't actually matter whether there really exists an objective "outside" world beyond your senses, because how you interact with everyone and everything, imaginary or not, reflects directly upon how you see yourself and what you believe you deserve. If you believe you're worthy of God, everyone else will appear so, too.
The OBSESSION with identity is so crazy like the view that when you do something it immediately becomes part of your identity and all the parts of you have to click together to become “person who wakes up early” or “person who reads” no you can literally just do something without restructuring your whole performance of personhood around it. I don’t know what to tell you except that you will never be able to have an entirely unfractured view of yourself or that you will be able to rationalize all the complex parts of yourself into the phrase “person who x” like you should just be doing things without performing them. Or aestheticizing them. Just try different things on and keep what works for you. Otherwise you will never learn and grow!
ok, maybe you didn't say the thing I accused you of saying - but you heavily implied it by speaking to me, someone who wants to be mad at you
“Do not cling to any one thing. Nothing is it, so do not judge and criticize. No intellectual concepts are valid, so do not presume.”
—Shabkar in Flight of the Garuda
This quote from the renowned 19th-century Tibetan yogi Shabkar Tsokdruk Rangdröl (1781–1850) is a quintessential instruction for the Dzogchen practice of Trekchö (Cutting Through). It guides the practitioner to let go of dualistic fixation and intellectual grasping, pointing directly to the primordially pure nature of the mind.
The quote dismantles the mental habits that obscure our inherent wakefulness:
"Do not cling to any one thing."Liberation begins when we stop grasping at concrete phenomena, thoughts, or emotions as inherently real or permanent.
"Nothing is it, so do not judge and criticize."All phenomena are ultimately empty of inherent existence. When you stop categorizing experiences as "good" or "bad," you remove the mental friction of judgment.
"No intellectual concepts are valid, so do not presume."The ultimate nature of reality (or Dharmakaya) is beyond the reach of the conceptual mind. You cannot figure out or theorize your way into enlightenment.
By resting in this state of "non-meditation," Shabkar teaches that thoughts arise and self-liberate without you needing to correct, suppress, or modify them.

There's not someone behind awareness
doing the aware-ing.
Awareness is aware of itself.

being kind and full of love is the whole point btw
one of the greatest discoveries i made in my journey for me was realizing that the 3d isn’t something separate from me. my 3d isn’t “out there”. my 3d doesn’t need to be changed.
i’m literally within myself. think of your 3d as your mind. you’re IN this 3d world. that means you’re INSIDE your own mind. you’re within yourself lol.
your mind isn’t in your body, your body is in your mind.
jesus said he is in father and father is in him(john 14:10). william blake said god is in us and we in him.
this is why there is nothing to change but self because self is the only thing there is. you’re within yourself. the world is truly your own simulation. you’re within the mind of god. you’re inside your own self.
think of a blue butterfly. you don’t even have to “manifest” it. just think of it. whenever it comes to your mind, just think of a blue butterfly. you’ll somehow end up seeing a blue butterfly in the 3d even though you didn’t “manifest” it.
why? because you’re literally within yourself. this is why it’s absurd to want to change the 3d or seek results from in the 3d.
you’re literally inside yourself………
i hope you get what i’m trying to get across here because i want you to know that you’re NOT changing the 3d, you’re changing yourself, your consciousness. your 3d exists WITHIN you.
“your mind isn’t in your body, your body is in your mind. ” i love this so much, this whole post is a gem ♡
"And now a message from the Night Vale Philosophical Society.
Attachment to the world is your problem. You think that your value is the value of your possessions. You think your car means something about you as a person. You think that what is in your wallet is related in any way to the substance of your soul.
We want to help you with that. So we have decided to speak your language.
Break yourself free from the cycle of desire, and there is a crisp one hundred dollar bill in it for you. That’s right. Realize that we are all one with the universe and that material things are no more valuable than soil, and we will smack that one hundo right in your hand. Make big bucks by seeing past the trap of wealth.
The choice is yours. Stay tied to the heavy burden of everything you own. Or realize that the only difference between you and the sun is an arrangement of atoms, and that you never needed anything at all, and baby this Benjamin is yours.
All is eternal and all is nothing, and if you can realize that, you’ll be one hundred big ones richer.
This has been a message from the Night Vale Philosophical Society."
- Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor, from Welcome to Night Vale, ep. 287.

The ego is just 100 defense mechanisms in a trench coat
You remain confused so long as you are identified with your body. Even your question what is to be done is only from the point of view of your association with the body. As an individual, concerned with the body, what am I to do?-that really is your question. So long as you remain identified with the body, your confusion will continue.
