how can ppl say cats dont have feelings like. 

when my cat got deadly sick she refused to eat a single thing and it had been days but when i started crying she ate just a little bit, and upon seeing how happy it made me, kept doing it whenever she could.

now whenever im sad or crying she finds wherever i am with a mouthful of food and eats the pieces one by one, every time looking up at me making sure i was watching her eat it all because she knew it made me happy. and it DOES make me happy

VENT POST I'M SAD AND GRIEVING AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO PUT FOR A TW SO IF YOU READ JUST BEWARE I GUESS

I lowkey thought I was indestructable for a really long time because I'd been through so much and still manage to have a positive little pinkie pie attitude and demeanor, but then a few minutes ago I realized that it's now 9:07pm. And it's May 17th. of 2026. and that it's now 67 days since my mom died. And I'm done with my first year of college. And I'm technically homeless and relying on my college's housing for stability. And it really happened. It wasn't just the worst nightmare of my life. It wasn't a figment of my imagination. It wasn't just an excuse to miss class for weeks in a row and almost fail one of my classes. It actually happened. It wasn't just something I was afraid about happening. It happened. It wasn't just a hypothetical scenario I'd been fearing. It was real. My mom's not just out of town or busy. She's gone. And not just for a few days or weeks or months or even fucking years. She's gone for the rest of my life here. And I don't know if she's smiling down on me or smiling at me from a side by side angle for managing to make it this far without her or whatever people have been trying to say to reassure or comfort me, and I don't know when or if I'll ever see her again. I don't know what my dream is anymore. It used to be to go to college to get a good job to help her and get us our own place together and also revolt against oppresors whenever possible and decolonize ourselves together and learn who we really are together in a safe environment, but now I can't do it with her because she's not here anymore. I'm still a heartbroken zombie with a comedy mask on and my foods cold. it's hard to eat while sober now. I spent as much time as I could with her but I still wonder if it was enough.
