WHAT IS THE FIRESIDE? Once a humble coffee shop nestled in the heart of a great free company, The Fireside was the go-to place for members of Firelight Trading Company looking for a bite to eat after a long mission. Realising its potential as both a meeting place and a means of capital, its proprietor expanded the business throughout the various city-states of Eorzea until The Fireside became synonymous with coffee, company and great food; sourly needed after the anguish of The Final Days. Now, patrons old and new can gather to enjoy the hospitality and cosy atmosphere these avenues provide.
This establishment was made to focus on the creation and fostering of late-night/oceanic roleplay in the Final Fantasy XIV community. Though physically located in Balmung/Crystal’s Shirogane, the Fireside’s expansion into almost all the city-states creates a space where your character can walk in from almost anywhere, and our focus on a coffee-shop with a laid-back atmosphere encourages off-the-cuff, casual roleplay.

We’re not open yet, but as I post this as we are almost to the finish line. We hope to host bi-weekly events and offer a casual roleplaying space for anyone and everyone any day or time of the week.

Blink is the first person who jumps to mind. Possibly because she has a lot of pet peeves, but they all seem to fall into the same category of wasting her time.

Sasavi (Savi)
Sasavi, better known as Savi or even Sassy for short, isn't considered a minion or pet by Mihli, or anyone in the pair's lives. Savi is a family member, or as Mihli affectionately refers to her, a daughter. The pair have been inseparable since Mihli offered the orphaned dragonette a spot along side her. Their time together long predates Mihli's time in Eorzea, and its thanks to the small dragon Mihli was able to regain her memories after both her and Lysander looked into educating Sasavi.
She's been a part of my character's storyline forever and they'd be lost without one another. Teaching Savi to talk with the pretense of helping Mihli recover her memories was such a fun touch to Mihli's story. She's getting a little tubby rolling around in Lysander's research all day though...
