Hey guys, SSO dropped some news about changes and I'm already seeing players overreact and claim the worst and even share misinformation so I'm here to make it clearer. With a list! :)
What happened: a few hours ago Star Stable posted on their instagram this video of the Design Director Kristina explaining a new system for traiblazer, which will be tested on the one coming tomorrow.
What does and doesn't change:
Time: the time stays the same - 28 days (4 weeks)
Levels: there are now only 25 levels instead of 35, they removed the flower/plants reward and added appearance-change coupon and happy-hoof treats
Points: the first 4 activities will now give 120 points instead of 100. The main difference is that you can only earn for points for first 12 activities per day, after that you will no longer earn them. Things like collecting light, plants and recyclables (or anything that previously gave 1 point) will no longer give points. There was no mention of bonus reward, but after some calculations, that should stay (or maybe will be changed to slightly higher reward).
How long will it take me to finish: previously, if you only collected daily + the 12 activities, you would finish the trailblazer around 23 days. Now, it will take you 16* days of daily login (out of 28, which means no worries if you have to skip a week).
I get it. It's annoying and especially unfortunate for those who don't have time to play very often. But I feel like people are overreacting and getting into sort-of mob mentality (cough cough instagram comments and reddit cough cough).
I'm pretty sure tho you can do 12 activities in like 15 minutes, no?
I'm not gonna say more until I actually experience something before giving a criticism of a new change.
*16 is the number they said themselves in the video. I did some math and unless they raised the daily free reward, it should be 17 (16.77, but in cases like this you should round up) (or maybe I made a mistake somewhere while counting, that's also a possibility)
