“The mopey look on your face helps a lot,” Linda said with a smirk, propping up his chin with his elbow balanced on his knee. “You should really be more careful about that. Frown lines don’t look good on anybody, especially not someone our age.”
“And like I said, you can relax. I’ll behave.” He stretched again before leaning back against the back of the couch, pulling his legs up and tucking his feet under himself. “And I’ll start by not burning your place to the ground,” he added quietly, looking off to the side. “I’m not starving.”
He sat there like that for a while, watching Gakuen flip through channel after channel with a blank expression on his face. It almost seemed like he wasn’t paying attention. “Are you actually going to watch anything, or just cycle through all the channels a couple times?”
Click. No, not that. Click. That wouldn't do either.
"If you're concerned about my looks, then you probably shouldn't spend so much time around me. You're not good for them." He mumbled, sounding almost bitter. But he was really far from it.
Click. Why wasn't anything good on?
His eyes shifted to Linda as he stretched again, watching the movement as the blonde continued with what he was saying. For some unknown reason, -- he'd convince himself that it was probably his good nature starting to shine through without him meaning for it to -- Gakuen sat up a bit and tossed the remote to Linda.
"You pick something," He told him, standing up. "I'll go heat up the soup or something.. If you're staying here, I'll at least be a good host."
