fuck it , i guess i'll tell you guys what has been going on this month and why I haven't really been around. first of the month , my tv that i've had since 2019 died , then a few days later , my vape died. luckily i had a backup. then i went to purchase 50 bucks of something on marvel rivals and steam charged me twice so there was an extra hundred out of my account , then yesterday my backup vape died , while also yesterday i slipped and fell and broke my phone and had to buy a new one. i started this month with 700+ in my account and i am currently sitting at 309 dollars because of all these random unfortunate events that are dying , i'm really starting to feel like lemony goddamn snickett is writiing the event of my life or some shit.

as a consequence of all this shit happening , I really have not had the mental fortitude to do much of anything and i am at my wits end with everything lately and haven't felt up to writing because i feel like anything that I put out would be utter dogshit and i don't wanna pump out shit when you all know that I can spin gold with my words.

as such , I don't really know when i will be back to normal or when activity will be back to its usual pace and i do seriously apologize for that , but again it has just been a constant never ending stream of bullshit after bullshit and i'm just trying to roll with the punches as much as i can. if people wanna add me on discord i'll drop it here under the cut.

In the corner of a room, lit up only by the flickering flame of a vanilla scented candle, there's a soft, velvet chair. It creaks with any movement from its current user. Sitting on the cushioned seat is the infamous, demon queen of limbo. At the moment, she's slowly reading a heavy book. The outside of the cover is decorated by magical sigils of varying types. It isn't something that can be opened up by just anyone. It doesn't look friendly or casual reading by any definition.

Her hand flips a page. Her blue eyes start reading the next line, but then there's this grating noise that cuts through the peace of her corner reading. She closes the book with a fierce slam. Her narrowed eyes turn towards their target, a tall individual blocking the light. He looks nervous, unsure. She gives him that look. The one that says she's done with him before he even begins.

❝ Peter , you know we’ve discussed this before . Not everyone can learn the spells I know . Do you want to be swallowed by a demon or taken as a slave in a different dimension ? ❞

Her body turns fully around, acknowledging him. She leans towards him, jabbing the book in her hands. It burns a little. It's not something made to touch just anything or any old hands. Where does she even get this stuff? Easy, Limbo is full of such treasures or curses. However you'd like to put it.

Was it necessary? No. Would it be funny to watch him squirm from boredom? Absolutely.

That was peak Illyana for why do you even want to dabble in things you probably shouldn't be messing with? She figures she should be grateful he's asking her and not someone liable to actually consume him for his folly. Then again... he did look crunchy.
