It's hard summing up a whole process in just 15 seconds. Here I'm adding some pin nails for a little extra reinforcement. Drilling the set holes for some slightly larger nails keeps the wood from splitting. Counter sinking the nails lets me cover them up. I'm not totally convinced this process is necessary with how well the wood glue bonds. Music courtesy of @alehan since this is one of his boxes. (I also recorded this video a month ago. Woke up with my head in a 5"x7" box. I didn't know this but I have all the tools I need to start doing low cost brain surgery. If anything I can get in there and poke around to see if anything needs replacing. I could probably pull off some low cost dentistry #woodshop #portlandia

Quite a day for our little rescue kitty yesterday. Got her spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Spent the evening with a fairly drunk kitten that was like "I love you guys!" Today she's sleeping it off but still very affectionate. Wants constant arm snuggles. ...and "meow" back to your regularly scheduled programming. #tabby #cute. #notworkrelated

This is funny because I had to pull off one of those half size breadboard strips and replace it with a regular sized breadboard strip. Since I removed the sticky back sides I can't rearrange the other boards without destroying them. So I am left with one side hanging over the edge. I need the extra room. It's also funny cause this is being stored on an actual bakers rack you might put loafs of bread on in a bakery. A great way to store projects. #prototype #breadboard #protoboard #process

This is a repost from @filetransferprotocol notice the RML Fuzz Doubler in the repurposed box in the upper right! The Fuzz Doubler is a mono to stereo distortion. I plan on making some more of those eventually. There will likely never be another one that looks like that. I've got a thing for mono to stereo. :) #fuzz #fuzzdoubler #modular #modularsynth

I have put my prototype for the Hyde filter up on eBay. While it doesn't have the laser etched panel and is a little rough around the edges in an unusual 5x7 format it's still pretty cool. Some ghost bumps randomly appear on the meter. I had to redesign the meter driver circuit for the production run but it still works very well. Great meter in this one. Sounds great.
