The context here is that:
Batz being 100% a skeleton like his dad Jawbone (forget what the skeleton species is called lol), couldn't escape some traits or appearances he would inherit from his mom chiffon, a floofinian (that's the chiffon species name). Batz has paws and also possesses the ability to imitate the sound of his mother's species. Cord began to love him even more, and in fact, she mentioned this to Batz: "For someone so serious and edgy, you're actually quite adorable inside, even if you don't realize it."
