"Take me," she practically begs. "Take me away from here... Perhaps privacy is what I need." Angela's words seem empty, as though she were choking on them - which was the only way she could describe it. She could barely think with him so close, so real to touch and make her FEEL again.

The medic’s hand rushed to smooth down spunky brown locks, crystal irises filled with a flurry of emotions; none that could be separated from another in that moment. Her top teeth began to gently bite down on the soft flesh of her inner lips, eyes creasing in concentration. They needed all the power they had to take out the Talon forces - but at the same time, no one else could fly without putting all of the team in danger.
“Lena.” At this point, Angela’s tone had hardened, going back to her commanding disposition. “I’m going to find a safe place for you and I need you to try and hold your hand over that wound for as long as you can.” There wasn’t a way - no. There wasn’t a chance that the blonde was going to lose the Brit again.
She just couldn’t deal with it.
Lena swallowed and looked up at Angela, her eyes taking a moment to focus on her. “You go’ it, luv,” she said, smiling weakly. “Li'e I said, ya’ can’ gem rid o’ me tha’ easy.”
She gave Angela a thumbs up and then winced as there was a crash from Hana’s mech being destroyed. “You bet'e’ hurry up, Ange’…” she whispered, her hand reaching up to brush a finger over Angela’s cheek, inadvertently leaving a smear of blood.
“Where ya’ gonna move me?” she asked. She was starting to get a little hazy, but she was fighting to stay alert for Angela. She had a job to do – stay alive.
Angela had to bite her tongue, fighting the automatic response that popped into her brain. She couldn’t take the chance to let Lena go into panic. It was a good question that the doctor was trying to find the answer to - a safe place that wouldn’t be found.
A stack of wooden crates was off to the corner, hidden within darkness. As long as she could redirect the fight from the corner, everything would be fine. Or so she told herself.
“I’m going to set you down behind some crates.” Angela began, picking Lena’s frame up with ease. “I need you to stay quiet, but awake. I promise I’ll be coming back for you. This’ll be over soon, and until then, you need to keep that pressure on your head like I showed you. Do you understand?”
“Ey doc. Should I be worried ‘bout these?” Lena had her sleeves pulled up, showing all the scrapes and marks left after her run in with Widowmaker.

“Oh, dear,” comes the doctor’s quiet response, prompting her to walk forward, the clack of her heels loud against the tiled floor.
“What did you do this time, Lena?” Angela’s cold hands gently take the Brit’s arms, holding them up as she did a simple, visual observation. They didn’t look too bad, but it never hurt to run a few tests. There were only a few that could be considered ‘deep’ that needed further examination.
