。·:✧:· EARLIER THAT DAY, Kenzie got herself stuck in a rather sticky situation regarding her wand. She couldn’t tell you how exactly she did this or what exactly happened, because really, it was a whole story. The actual event was still unknown, because it happened all so fast. Because of that, in a lucky happenstance of being allowed to leave early to solve this situation, she found herself walking through Diagon Alley toward Ollivanders. Kenzie grumbled loudly to herself, still mad that all of this happened. She’d tried not to think about it and wanted nothing more than to just go back to work and forget about it. Even seeing all of these fliers everywhere, didn’t stray her. She’d seen them already and was on a mission now. Her footsteps were rather loud, at least to her as she opened the door to the wand shop. Taking a deep breath, she knew she’d have to explain this calmly. “I may have broken my wand and I can’t even tell you how. It’s a whole story of and I’m still mad at the people involved. I’m convinced it’s all their fault and you can’t convince me otherwise,” Kenzie explained, taking her wand out of her cloak, placing it on the counter with a pout on her face.
A small smirk appeared on his face as he listened to her explanation. Reuben had heard at least a dozen variations of the same story over his time in the shop, but usually they were from students and came in nasty howlers from their parents. This was one of the first times that he’d ever seen such a beautiful which come in with a request like this. He knew that whoever had been involved... Well, he didn’t want to be them. The wand maker was willing to bet that her wrath wasn’t nearly as pretty as she was. “Hmm...” he said, stepping behind the counter and lightly running his fingers over the wand. “I should be able to repair this within a few hours,” he told her, looking up with a smile. “I’ve got what I need for it in the back.”
