✸ | “Team ‘Blaze It’, huh…?” A chuckle came from Kamui, and although he was in a team where he didn’t recognize most of the people, at least he was able to enter the bracket, no? “Looks like I’ll have to introduce myself to the others, so they know who I am…” But I hope my siblings don’t resent me for not joining them…

Hello hello, one and all!! Do you like summertime? Tired of your day-to-day chores in your lord’s army? Wanna go to the beach?! Well, you’re in luck, because you – and potentially all your friends – just won one all expenses paid trip to the Outrealm’s most famous Hotrealm!

WHAT?

a lighthearted and drama-free fire emblem-centric summer holiday event hosted by @fellbranded and @armsthriift!!

events such as volleyball, sand castle contests, scavenger hunts, capture the flag, and more!! 

potentially a movie night on the weekend of the event!

WHO?

the fire emblem community as a whole! awakening? heroes? fates? echoes? tellius? jugdral? ocs? fankids? come on in, the water’s great! everyone’s invited to have fun in the sun!

not in the fandom but have a fire emblem verse for your muse? that’s cool! hop on in with the rest of us!

WHEN?

…we’ll, uh. get back to you on that. but definitely sometime this month! if the event turns out to be a success, more could be planned in the future! 

WHERE?

Here on tumblr, of course! once the details have been ironed out, we’ll post a tag for the event!

WHY?

why not? the community getting together for a big party in the summer sounds like a blast!

Rules for the Summer Scramble

Participants

** All canon and original Fire Emblem characters, or any character with a Fire Emblem verse is welcome to participate! 

** This is an FE RP event for the current FE RP community, so it needs to be a dedicated FE and RP blog in some way. Sideblogs for roleplay and multimuse blogs with qualifying characters/verses are OK. Personals are not.

Leave Selectivity Behind for Awhile

** The point of this event is for everyone to have fun together, and to make some new connections with new partners. While this is still ultimately a hobby, and we cannot force interactions, how well the event does in accomplishing its goal or not will greatly effect whether further ones are held. 

** Even if you are a private or mutuals-only blog, we wholeheartedly ask, just for the week, if you are participating in the event that you be open to interactions with any and all other participants, and that you do your best to check in on the event tag to reach out to some yourself, especially our vendors and OCs, or anyone who you see hasn’t gotten a response to something. Everyone wants to feel included, don’t leave anyone sitting alone in the wading pool.

** If you post a meme or a starter, you are considered open to being approached by any other event-goers. If you start feeling overwhelmed, please prioritize those who are reaching out to you for the first time; there’s the rest of the summer to answer or continue festivities with usual friends.

** Obviously, not everyone gets along with everyone else. We’re not saying people have to reconcile falling outs, or talk to everybody, or ignore your squad. Just try to engage in a little something with a few new people over the course of the week, so everyone’s included by someone. And of course, we will be here to help you as mods if issues come up between people or get uncomfortable.

Be respectful

** As always, we’d like to keep things drama-free. Don’t attack or harass others for any reason. Don’t send anon hate. Don’t vague about other participants. Respect the rules of the event, general roleplay courtesies, and people’s blogs. Play nice in the sandbox, guys, I know you know how. 

** Again, if there are any issues, please bring it to the moderator’s attentions and we will help you address it.

Keep the tag PG-13.

** We understand vacations often mean having a good time, and are happy to inspire some meeting opportunities and ideas for your characters… but please move more personal activities out of the tag.

** Be sure to still tag appropriately otherwise, and perhaps come up with a different personal tag for those who still wish to block event related posts. AT LEAST tag it nsfw.

** Implications and innuendo are OK. So are curse words, just don’t use them excessively. We may revoke this exception if there are complaints.

Activity

** You don’t have to participate every day! Come and go as you are available and please.

** Any events that don’t depend on moderator response can be continued into the next day or as long as you like, even beyond the end of the week. You can also join in late or on whatever day works for you.

** While some announcements are IC posts, The mod askbox is for ooc questions, submissions, and concerns only, unless otherwise specified by an event. Feel free to poke us for any kind of clarification.

** We are most certainly participating, though, and IC asks are welcome to be sent to our character blogs! Don’t be afraid to approach, we need to lead by example and meet some new people too! We’re not exactly hiding behind pseudonyms…:

✸ | “Azura?” The prince calls out from her door, wondering if she was feeling under the weather. “Are you there?” Kamui asks, lightly knocking on the door with his gloved knuckles. It was morning, and he wanted to check how everyone was holding up–regardless if they are early birds or not. “Hello?” He says, trying not to sound demanding.

     Carefully rising from her bed Azura shuddered faintly from the cold nipping at her toes on the hardwood floor as she stumbled over and carefully opened the door for the prince. ❝ Mm… Kamui…? ❞ The woman questioned sleepily, clearly not entirely awake just yet. ❝ Is something the matter…? ❞

Still, seeing that state of hers, Kamui felt a little rude to knock on her door, even if he’s already greeted others whom were awake at this hour. “Good morning, Azura.” He greets, pulling his hand away from the side where he knocked. “Ah, there’s nothing wrong. I was just checking up to see how everyone was doing this morning...I’m sorry if my sudden arrival woke you up.”

She’d been exhausted as of late, barely able to find the energy to leave her bed, but now it seems she may be able to change that… If someone drags her out of bed that is.

“That’s a relief,” He says, nodding as the stranger had inquired about his own well being. “Oh, I’m doing alright, thank you. I just couldn’t help but check up on you. Pray tell, how exactly did you find this place?”

          his demeanor does a 180 soon after, realizing that his travels have come up to this point and he’s been caught. he can’t exactly ask them to keep it a secret, can he? 

          “thanks! but uh,  it’s kind of a long story.” a quick look around tells him enough to make an assumption, but he doesn’t want to get his hopes up. “if it’s not too much trouble… where are we, exactly?”

✸ | “I see...” As the brunet asked Kamui about his whereabouts, chances are that there’s no way he can hide the Astral Plane’s existence from anyone else. According to Lilith, the First Dragons had granted their protection and power to take shelter in this world, to prepare for the upcoming battle. But what the prince didn’t expect is a stranger to gain access in this dimension--let alone fall down from above.

“You’re in the Astral Plane. It’s a world that parallels from the one humans usually live in.” He glances at his castle from the distance, before back at the man. “This place is meant to be a safe haven, before returning to the outside realm...” Kamui tries to explain, before scratching the back of his neck. “Sorry, it sounds a little strange, doesn’t it? If only Lilith was here to explain...” The last sentence was murmured, and the light haired boy was feeling a bit awkward.

✸ | "Is that so?” He says, placing the napkin upon the empty plate. Kamui’s well aware of the various people and species, but it’s not everyday you get to speak to a vampire, face to face. 

“I guess you’re right, seeing how Wolfskin also exist in Nohr, too...If I may ask, is it really true that you can’t go outdoors during the daylight?” It must be a rumor, since it’s known that vampires require human blood to survive.

✸ | “Haha…” A nervous chuckle came from the younger prince, especially seeing Xander with a pot over his head. “Even if it’s sturdy, I don’t think pots would be good as a crown, Nii-san.” Kamui wasn’t teasing his brother, though the imagination of using a pot as a crown. “Dare I ask what’s for dinner tonight?”

“Aren’t you humorous today?” he smile while taking the pot off his head, “I am aware a pot is not a good head wear, but you use to wear one with a ladle at hand pretending to be a solider.” it was honestly one of the cutest things he has seen. 

“Beef stew, I could reach the pot just fine; however I was unaware of the other pots.”

✸ | He watches as Xander removes the pot from his head, still smiling at the reminiscing memory that the elder brought up. Ah, it was during his time in the Fortress, a prince who longed to see the outside world--and to feel the grass on this toes and the wind by his side. Kamui stretches his arms before responding back. 

“I take it you’re on cooking duty tonight, Nii-san? I’m just glad you didn’t get hurt.” People would be concerned if they saw Xander with a huge bump on his forehead.
