away from her hands, yukako’s eyes lifted towards dr. atsuko. then, her lips pursed together. she was side eyeing her in the most scornful way possible. her brother was one of the reasons she was how she was today, alongside her father. had her mother forgot to put king’s name on the papers? or did dr. atsuko not care and just read over them?

as if on cue , a single strand of black hair , which atsuko had made a point of tucking behind her ear with care earlier , slipped over and lightly kissed her cheek . she must have moved subconsciously , but she had felt no such shifting in her position . perhaps she had made a mistake , after all ? doubt taints her confidence , but gaze does not falter , and lips part ever slightly to respond after brief moments of silence .

hello like to have a nice therapy session with atsuko aka a starter !

yukako’s mother was well aware of her daughters striking similarities to her father, who disappeared 11 years ago. one of those striking similarities was her unstable mood swings. for this reason, yukako was given a psychotherapist who called herself dr. atsuko.

her mother offered to drive her here, but she promptly refused and walked on her own. at that moment ( and, debatably, right now ), yukako felt nothing but distaste towards her mother. people are given therapists of any kind because there must be something wrong. and as far as she knew, there was nothing wrong with her.

what has she been seeing? nothing in her day to day life was worth mentioning, she knew. yukako’s eyebrows twitched as the need to be obstructive swelled inside her. another twitch was seen as she chose to disobey her instinct. ❛ …i’ve recently had a dream of my brother. ❜

she was clearly intelligent , perhaps in many ways , even moreso than the scientist hired to pick her apart . she had often had issues with the smarter ones , those who refused to submit to authority figures , so she had to stifle a sigh of relief when she was given a proper in response to her question . not that she necessarily needed her patient to be entirely open --- that would ( hopefully ) come in due time .

＂ YOUR BROTHER ? ＂ yukako , unbeknownst to the two of them , was actually quite unlucky . atsuko , as the leader of her unit , was a true pioneer in her field , a woman that had brought about unthinkable progress in the world of psychotherapy . yes , it all looks fantastic on paper , but she had learned to play games , with little real attachment to her patients . the years of shoving personal ties aside in order to create something more efficient , more effective , had drawn some of the humanity out of her work . passion for science , yes , was absolutely necessary . but passion alongside science was far from ethical --- or at least , this is what she believed . ＂I WASN’T AWARE YOU HAD A BROTHER . ＂

💚 - are they prone to jealousy?

ABSOLUTELY . she’s so self-driven that she doesn’t allow herself signs of weakness , but this is all due to the fact that she refuses to acknowledge any of her emotions .atsuko actually feels a lot of negative emotions hard , and doesn’t take negativity well at all . this is why she’s so controlling in her work and personal life , suppressing any feelings she feels may get in the way of efficiency . so while she won’t show it whatsoever , as she believes she can be “above” such petty feelings , she is actually quite the jealous type . or perhaps it is because she refuses to acknowledge her truest and most human thoughts that she is prone to jealousy ?

👫 - do they display affection in public? what about in private?

she does not partake in pda but in private she is significantly more open . though , she is not one to express emotions (as stated above) , love included . however , she does express romantic feelings through her care , making sure her partner is comfortable and doing them favors in order to ensure their happiness . she will not do anything over the top , preferring subtle , quiet methods to express her affection . in public she’d probably be too embarrassed to do more than simply acknowledge her partner , especially if in a workplace .

🔮 - do they believe in soul mates?

actually , in a sense , yes . she believes that there is someone that fits perfectly with another person , in theory . with how many people there are in the world , yes , two people with 100% compatibility to each other can definitely exist . however , she does not believe that soulmates are necessarily intertwined by fate and are destined to meet and fall in love . she’s a woman of hard science , after all .

hi all my 14 year old dog passed this morning so i won’t be active on my blogs for the next few days . honestly i’m ok since this was a long time coming but this isn’t a great time for me to be writing since i’m also dealing with some other stuff . thank you for being patient with me through all this !

Both hands held tightly to the sides of the bubblegum pink door as he slowly turned his head around, already in the process of picking up the Anywhere Door and stuffing it back into his 4D Pocket before having heard somebody behind him. (Ah – it was better than being called a TANUKI to say the least.) What a good observation, not many can guess he’s a ROBOT from the get go, he must have had made it to the right place for sure.

Lifting the door with ease the robot was quick in seemingly making it dissappear with the blink of an eye… by stuffing the human-sized door into the small pocket on his belly. Turning around on his right foot, Doraemon showed the friendliest of smiles.
