Why do you guys hate that film so much? Like holy shit. Like okay I’m okay with people not liking something or having a problem with something, but the way so many of you people treat that project they put so much of their own time and their own money into….Like it’s immature and really fucking rude and moronic. It makes you guys look/sound like total assholes. I wasn’t even really watching the show at the time when I found Doomstar on youtube and watched it and it fucking blew my mind. The animation, the music, the story line…Everything about it was so incredible and pulled me out of this odd writers block fueled depressive state where i didn’t want to do anything, but sleep and cry a lot. I LOVE that fucking movie. If you don’t. Cool. That’s fine. But saying he sold out or he’s an asshole or a cock sucker or doesn’t care about his characters or writing….That’s fucking stupid. Did you write a show on TV? Do you play several instruments, voice act, and sing in different styles? Huh? No you don’t. There is NOTHING wrong with Doomstar. Oh let me guess….”Why didn’t they call Toki their brother?” Well let’s see you have four characters who had traumatic up bringings and LITERALLY from the very first episode talked about how everybody they come into contact with dies, how everything they like or love dies. Horribly. So how the FUCK would you want them to react to in Partying Around the World? Charles said he was looking for Toki and Abigail because he’s the father figure, it’s HIS responsibility so he would most likely tell them he’s got a handle on it, it’s fine. But after awhile when he still doesn’t have a clue if their even still alive it would freak them the fuck out. They were assuming that Toki and Abigail were dead that’s why they were wasted and acting like assholes, because they ddint’ want to think about how two people they really genuinely cared about could be dead, because EVERYBODY they come into contact with/love DIES. The best part? Somebody they considered family is the one who stole away two people they cared about and they think it’s their fault that he’s crazy the way he is. The reason they denied Toki being their brother before they went to rescue him? The same fucking reason I just mentioned. PEOPLE THEY LOVE AND CARE ABOUT DIE, ALL THE TIME. If they just openly said “yeah he’s our brother, we love him.” then that would have been a sure sign he could have died. You can fucking hear in the way they talk in that part that their nervous and unsure and don’t want to go get the two of them, because they know there is a huge possibility they will be dead. The whole film has the concept of Dante’s Inferno. it isn’t erasing four seasons worth of character and story development. It isn’t erasing shit. It’s pretty fucking realistic if you ask me. Who the fuck would handle ANY of that well? They acted how they in character would act and honestly they acted how anybody would act if they were told they needed to save their friends from their old friend and that when they get there their friend is probably going to be dead. It’s a good possibility. and yes how Magnus died was poetic, it was beautifully written. He was stabbed by MMA once and then crawled away and stabbed himself. He was stabbed twice, for the two people who trusted him that he stabbed. Yes MMA died by being ripped to shreds…Big fucking deal. You got two people who are dying, an over weight guy, a scrawny Swede, and a pudgy dude with severe asthma. Nathan is the only one out of that who would stand a second’s chance against MMA, but the thing is at that point he just wanted blood shed. he would have ripped Nathan’s head from his body the second he got within reach. So yes the Doomstar activating them and ripping that asshole to shreds was literally the only way he could have died and how they got out of the building. "why did the priest die, he was a new character. that’s bad writing" They basically set up from the get go he was going to die. Like literally they introduced him in a way where you know he’s going ot fucking end up dead. he was preparing Charles from the second he healed him, he was prepping him to become the new head of the church, because he knew he would as he’s supposed to give his life for the five demi gods in order to keep the prophecy going. He HAD to die. Even Salacia knew that nobody in Dethklok could die and the death had to be a sacrifice. The priest was a sacrifice he LITERALLY sacrificed himself to save them. If Toki and Abby had died it would have been a sacrificial death, but it would have thrown everything off balance and the Doomstar couldn’t come to be, Salacia would lose everything and the game would end. The timeline the show is in would be completely useless with one of the Gods being killed. So the priest had to die in order for things to happen. Like I honest to God….Can’t find a reason why SO fucking many people who watch this show HATE this movie so much. Like holy fuck even the comment section on youtube is just assholes complaining, i see it stream online and people are bitching…Like oh my god why watch it or listen to the soundtrack or reblog things about it if all you guys can do is say how much of a bad writer and a cock sucker Brendon Small is and how he ‘ruined’ the show and “he better not fuck up season five like he did Doomstar” Like you know what?? STOP FUCKING WATCHING IT. Just stop. I don’t care if you people don’t like Doomstar. I don’t even WANT to fucking see posts on my dash when Season five happens, because I KNOW it won’t stand up to this immaculate standard you people have in mind and you will think he’s a sell out and think he’s a shitty person and just make post after post about how you liked it better when the show was taken off the air than “this”.. okay so i’m tired of seeing this crap in the metalocalypse fandom but there’s absolutely no surprise about it and i’m sure it’ll show up time and time again all things considered but i still wanted to say something about it, sitting in silence for years hasn’t helped anyone
for those of you who are upset by trans identities in dethklok (“transklok”) even fucking existing as a strong/primary headcanon for trans people who feel ignored or even sometimes forget that they are not represented whatsoever in the show: shut up, sit down and change your goddamn diapers.
many times other trans folk have said it simply: “we love something and want to see representation of ourselves in it”. cis people don’t need representation nearly as much as trans folk do. the male gender specifically doesn’t need any more representation than it already has. please note this is including both cis and trans men.
trans folk create things for themselves and others like them, not for your male gaze or desires. it’s bullshit that non-male identities have to force room for themselves in this fandom considering that most of what you enjoy/consumed is made by us. the fact that men in this fandom are angered/upset by the idea of their “fave char” not having a dick/not being cis, then screaming “THEY’RE NOT TRANS IN CANON!!” is already a huge and very disgusting problem.
i don’t care if you’re trans and you say this because you’re still upholding gross, destructive and violent views. i don’t honestly give a shit what your gender is, if you’re outright fighting that it’s not “canon” therefore “you’re wrong” is incredibly harmful. i think you need to consider some questions and why you believe this and why your opinion on it is so violent: why can’t any members of dethklok be transgender? why do you get so upset when people hold the view that they are canon trans? why do you feel the need to cry to brendon small about this?
the transphobia and truscum beliefs in this fandom are flooring (which isn’t that much of a surprise at all) but seriously, non-binary and female identities in this fandom shouldn’t have to elbow their way in just to hopefully get a glance at what’s going on. we shouldn’t have to do whatever bullshit whim you desire just to get a pat on the head and maybe be seen as “one of the good ones” to the men in this fandom. many of us are quiet and stay hidden to hopefully hide from those who want to erase us and are angered by the mere mention of our existence through fictional characters.

People like you make me ashamed to be human. People say that the guys in Dethklok aren't trans because fun fact:THEY AREN'T FUCKING TRANS. Don't get me wrong, I'm totally supportive of people who are actually trans, and have no issue with the trans community. Dethklok isn't trans, its not even a question, just watch the fucking show and its crystal clear. No one is crying to Brendon Small about it because he wouldn't give one single fuck; if you proposed to him that they are trans he would laugh in your face.
For the record, I am a female. I have no problem with not being represented in Metalocalypse because it literally doesn't matter at all.Would having a female member of Dethklok get me the same wage as a man? Would it solve any fucking problems that females face at all? Fuck no, it wouldn't. Neither would having a trans member change anything for the trans community. No one has to "elbow their way in." Nothing is stopping you from watching the show or being apart of the fandom, you just twist it into some kind of self-righteous fight for rights without actually affecting any real-world issues.
You say that trans people are "underrepresented"-- another fun fact for you: trans people don't want to be identified as trans, they want to be identified as the gender they identify themselves as, because HOLY SHIT DUH. I know it's a mind-blowing concept, but hopefully your tiny tiny brain can handle it. You call that a "true-scum" concept, but the real scum are the people who think being trans is just a fun, cute way to be different. Being trans is hell, and all the idiots prancing around pretending to be trans so they can feel special are making things way the fuck harder for actual trans people who have enough to deal with anyway, so in reality it would be your opinions that are destructive. In the off-chance that any of the people who decide they want to be "trans" get on hormones, then maybe they will understand what it feels like to be in the wrong body. I haven’t really been on Tumblr much, busy gaming. But from what I’ve seen; people are pissed because Pickles isn’t transgender and if you say he isn’t then you’re transphobic which suddenly turned into people on Tumblr sending hate messages and threats to the writers of the cartoon on Twiter and posting about wanting them dead on here, because of “racist homophobic and transphobic” themes on the show. Which lead to kids on this site threatening each other and trying to get people deleted for not agreeing with their aggressive hatred over a show they obviously aren’t mature enough to be viewing. Which lead to somebody messaging one of the writers on Twitter asking if that character is trans or not and also to give them the heads up/ask if they know about people wanting them to be killed.
Okay good to be reminded why I will carve out the inside of my vagina before I ever fuck up and have kids, because good God your parents should not have fucked and made you.
