Rules: 1. Post a quote or short excerpt from your early days of writing/ARTING.(I’m talking old fanfics/ART, slash fics/ART, original fic/ART, etc., that are barely edited and have a ton of technical errors and misspelled words.) This is the cringe part. Don’t edit anything! Let it be horrendous. Don’t Panic.
2. Post a quote or short excerpt from one of your most recent works/WIPs. Something that you’re proud of. Something that you’ve written/ARTED that makes you smile when you read it.
3. Tag a writer/artist you admire, anyone who you think is amazing, new friends, followers, writeblrs, anyone who you’d like to know more about. If you think someone is a great writer/artist and you want to see how they’ve developed their skills, tag them! Everyone started somewhere.
EXCERPT FROM EARLY DAYS OF WRITING (for those about to read this, i am SO sorry):
the backstory is that i wrote this for an old story, rushed through the nanowrimo process
It was like being in Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Except the buildings aren’t edible, although Willy Wonka would probably argue otherwise. A wide, toothy grin was spread across her features and she was practically clapping her hands together. “Yes! It’s settled then, we’re going to have a grand double wedding. Once we find cute nice boys who treat us as equals and are cute. And did I mention cute and nice?” She agreed with a nod and a giggle. “I would say I know how you feel, but seeing us I pretty much turned our cabin into a personal bakery, I’m not quite sure anymore. But yeah, my experience certainly isn’t like this.”
Arabella had gotten the idea that there would be people from all ages, and most pretty much fit her assumptions. A lot of the people looked like they were having the time of their lives, like they were children at a candy store – almost literally. “Ooh, gummy bears!” Arabella pointed and grabbed the red haired girl’s arm, pulling her along. “You know, you really don’t have to, but since you’re insisting, fine.”
EXCERPT FROM A RECENT WORK:
this was written about the love of my life, and the full work can be found on my medium account
Maybe in one universe, I never move to Arizona. Instead, we’ll meet at a random place in Baltimore, and we’ll keep meeting there until we’re both convinced that Coincidence struck out. It’s Fate’s turn to step up to the plate and swing.
In another universe, you and I will meet at the side of the road, with our cheeks burned red from both the heat and anger. We’ll trade numbers and somewhere in the blur of the accident that took place and paying for expenses, we’ll find ourselves grateful that it happened. Because it brought us each other.
Maybe there’s a universe where I’m the one who has someone, where you’re the one pining. Maybe I’m who you’ll wish you had a connection to other than the one we already have. Maybe you’re the one who’ll stay up late at night, replaying every conversation we’ve ever had in your head until you’ve worn yourself out over-analyzing every detail.
so clearly there hasn't been MUCH improvement ... yikes

Every time I had fallen in love, To use the term loosely, I had fallen in love with a concept – A false sense of who someone is.
I have created princes out of many Different types of frogs.
And then I met you.
You made me stop imagining What someone might be like, And instead gave me back my curiosity.
You made me want to get to know you, To thirst for information, And desire to quench it. Anything you were willing to share, I took with gratitude.
Thank you.
gratitude, k.n.

A spell to make someone think of you.
I found this spell awhile ago and, after adding my own twists to it, used it previously to attract someone and it worked perfectly. So I have decided to share it with all of you in case anyone was looking for a working attraction spell.
First, set out a dish in front of you. Make a small pile of salt in the dish.
Recite this spell over the salt:
It is not salt I set to fire, but the heart of the one I seek;
let them have no peace of mind until they come to me.
In the spell, replace words like ‘one’, ‘them’, and ‘they’ with that person’s respected gender/pronouns if needed. Think of them whilst saying it.
Optional: Memorizing the spell and repeating it in your head throughout the day whilst thinking of your individual could make it more powerful or fast acting.
