most of them go through 2-3 remakes, so ill remake them completely three times if they dont suit the image i have of them in my head

two, i for some reason have a weird habit of making them look a bit too young T-TT I think it's bc i like round faces and round eyes, so I automatically go for that unconsciously i think? I have to get like 2 diff ppl to check over the face each time, so just one remake alone usually takes about 2-4 hrs, i think ??? took like 6 hrs for one remake T-TT

for my personal solo projects--

after the fairy dr, im hoping to zone in hard on Aethergarde once again, I really would like to work on students pt.2 and empires/territories again + continue posting/working on plot for you all

I really want to make a futuristic aethergarde where you'll be born around the time Aeris dies OR a few centuries after Aeris' death, but I'll have to put that on the backburner with all the stuff I'd like to do LOL

I'm also hoping I can further wandering apocathary since I have a few creatures down in my notes (messily)

I really want to move deeper into dreamscape station, though i dont think that dr will be nearly as well-received LOL i just like liminal type drs! I want to make a mini Backrooms-type thing with it

I want to introduce this script as a click-through website thing. You'll be documenting different areas, creatures, and people with this function. After the documentation period is over, I'll transition to the actual main script for this dr!

for shared projects--

ari and I are excited to work on some of the filled script requests yall have submitted so far in the form. Right now we definitely do have a few favorites, and we plan to choose one instead of working on multiple of them at the same time!

I will also be working on ari's dragonologist's map, society, and culture! This'll probably be pretty difficult for me, but yk i can always try!

if I need a break from all these, I want to send secret scripts through the email thing on my beacons site! They'd be pretty short and based on very specific experiences. You'd only shift to these drs for a few months, or even a few days!

mmmm and one other dr i have already designed and set up is my realmwalker dr, not realmwalker library, but like a shifting agent, if that makes sense! I was gonna have this be a personal dr that I don't share purely cuz idk if ppl would like it/think its boring asf, BUT I kinda already have ideas on the diff cases. Similar to dreamscape, I'd want to document scp-ish kinda creatures, but my fav case idea is the 'venturing into taured' case! This came from the taured conspiracy theory, even tho it's been debunked, i find the idea interesting enough to build on! with this case, you'd attempt to actually go to taured and then document what you see. There'd be some kind of mystery you'd have to solve + you need to decide key questions your examiner's given you. Key questions would be stuff like: "is this a collectivist society?" "describe the current societal hierarchy" "what differs, history-wise, from this reality, and does there seem to be a pragmatic reason as to why it's different?". This dr would need to be a laptop-exclusive script since I'll be utilizing certain features you can only see on desktop.

im wrapping up what I can currently do for the fairy dr soon, as sorta promised

ive bitten off way more than i can chew with giving myself all the cities, people, nobility, cooking, courting/romance, clothing making, quizzes, map-making, ingredients, recipes, humans, and magic-- so far, I've done what I could all summer to complete the majority of my tasks, especially concerning cities. I was surprised to see how much work the towns took. If I could change something, I'd consider removing the shops and places page, but since the cities are almost done now, I'm keeping them!

I don't want to drag the release of the main script out for too long, so I'm wondering if you all feel the same or if you would rather get your hands on the main script sooner!

*for people, there is some bit of plot and hinting at this DR's main cast in the script, but they're nowhere in the people section yet!

Option 1:

release the fairy dr script once auberfort, alcove, and magic are done-- ETA next week~ public release

update the script with recipes, rest of inedible ingredients, people, plot, and courting as needed afterwards

Option 2:

release the fairy dr script once cities, magic, people, and courting is done, i can't give a definitive ETA on that

Most do not even have both blonde hair and blue eyes. I will say that a lot of them do have pale skin, but I'm light-skinned??? and I'm POC here?? this is stated in my introduction.

Most of my people and friends are not even white, let alone straight, link here to the sexualities post here. Here is the og race ask, I have since changed dani around to be fully chinese-- I just dont see her as being a part of wasia T-T ???'s isn't dead set to me, but he's at least half some kind of Hispanic, this is where his naturally darker skin wouldve come from. ALSO THE DIRE ARE THE MAIN ANTAGONISTS?????????? and they're portrayed as white???? dani is a lil diff tho but for lore reasons

The love interests are also almost all POC... I actually expected Teagan to be liked most, and thought to transition him as one of the LI's before I realized Callisto was most popular

main cast

For POC, including drself, I'm half asian/half white (bi)

Miaene is portrayed as East Asian (bi but women leaning)

Asmo (aro ace) and Azel (pan) are Pacific Islanders and blind in one eye

??? is half Hispanic as mentioned earlier (bi) he is now one of the main LIs

Dani is Asian (pan, demiromantic) she's one of the main Lis

Teagan is indian, I was looking for where I put that in the race thing, but I think I forgot to copy teagan's over T-TTTT he was originally planned to be of the main LIs

For non-POC, we have:

The Lancaster siblings, with Callisto being bi but men leaning and Asterias ace but panromantic

Straus is the only white straight man in the group T-TTT Straus does have blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anoa is white and attracted both romantically and sexually to men, but she is also romantically attracted to women

calloway is the PRIMARY antagonist, and he's portrayed as white WITH BLUE EYES

I havent quite finished making the fcs yet, but here are the ones i have done, again these are not even all the poc friends, i havent done Azel's twin yet + I have to make myself, who is canonically half asian

Nobody here is a diversity fill-in T-T

Asmo and Azel in particular are extremely important in pushing plot due to their niches and backstory

Adding on to this, it's very obvious who my favorites are if you've actually looked through the asks T-TTT

I resonate a lot with Teagan, Miaene, ???, Anoa, and Azel's presence, and I honestly feel they will be my closest friends. I miss Teagan and ???'s fucking crazy antics whenever I think about them :( AND it's only Anoa that's white. I think I'd def have fun w callisto, but my favs are def the ones listed previously

I suspect I'll be least close to Asmo, Asterias, and Straus.

Moving onto less front-and-center characters,

My roommates (link here) are also not white besides for one of them. I have only made conscious choices about race a few times-- 2 of my roommates and my dr parents. I've considered race w my dr parents for obvious reasons-- but none of them have blonde hair or blue eyes? Does dusky blue-grey count as blue eyes?? Kyrian is tan (bc he's supposed to be SEA), but Aelea is paler than him. Nat is directly inspired by my closest friend at the time. She isn't white to be white; my friend was white, so she's white + the face claim for Nat is similar to what my friend looked like.

Aihwa is asian because I thought it'd be fun to have someone else from a similar place as me talk about how life was like in Luha since I'll be growing up as a 3rd gen mixed kid

For Kahsi (pronounced kay-see), I genuinely just was scrolling for fcs, found her stunning, and thought that it'd be great to have more pretty friends

The royal family is half Asian, but it was difficult to find visuals for them that weren't terribly modern-looking. Yes they have blonde hair and blue eyes, but I dont think thats an issue????

The most important teachers (link) you'll meet are Riorson, Barou, Covington, Drakard, Khouri, and Maratov. None of the teachers has the full combo of pale skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes.

Of them, only Riorson and Barou are portrayed as white.

Drakard is portrayed as half asian, yes she does have blonde hair and pale skin, though she doesnt have blue eyes

Covington and Khouri are both black

Maratov, one of my fav teachers, is east asian, but has blue eyes

I'm starting to think that maybe this anon thinks white hair = blonde, it does not in my dr or in any of my drs T-T

White hair was actually considered ugly until Asterias surged in popularity; this is written in this post.

most of the heirs are a work in progress, but my fav so far is the naitou-iri house, who are ASIAN

I am annoyingly asian buddy T-T because my dad is dead, I admit that I haven't connected to my hispanic side as much, but I am knee-deep in my mom's and I's culture. Ari could even tell you that based on our calls T-TTTT I cringe at her for wearing shoes in the house, tho I do yearn for her pasta cuz I eat it once a year max

I wouldn't consider myself religious, but I go to buddhist temples to pray with my family + I've prayed at home for good luck with incense sticks for good luck

Where do I shop for groceries? I don't think farmers markets are asian in particular, but my family has always gone to ones marketed as global for their spices and wider assortment of fruits/veggies because we can't buy, idk, fucking lotus root, taro, cassava, or japanese sweet potatoes in a damn walmart anon

Half the time it's farmers markets, other times it's asian markets. I shop at huge south east asian markets and I go to 2 different H-marts for food. I refuse to get my hair cut by a white person because the hairdresser always ends up styling my hair in a way that honestly makes me look like im abt to become mormon, but thats just me not liking the tighter-looking blowout look on me

Kyrian is tan (bc he's supposed to be SEA), but Aelea is paler than him. Nat is directly inspired by my closest friend at the time. She isn't white to be white; my friend was white, so she's white + the face claim for Nat is similar to what my friend looked like.

Aihwa is asian because I thought it'd be fun to have someone else from a similar place as me talk about how life was like in Luha since I'll be growing up as a 3rd gen mixed kid

Like first of all, if you’ve ever even looked at any of lian’s content, you’d know that she always posts warnings when things get a little darker, and even her most recent post about the potential darker aethergarde plot points, she explicitly mentioned that some of that’s NOT GONNA BE THE STUFF THAT GOES IN THE PUBLIC SCRIPT!!!!!

And even then, the stuff in that dr isn’t even that dark, comparatively to a lot of other people’s drs. Like people shift to places like the walking dead or other apocalypse like drs and I don’t see anyone jumping on their ass!!! So why go after lian??? Especially if she’s only just got a dr that’s equivalent to the level of most fantasy books.

Like I can guarantee that if she wrote this as a novel, and then people wanted to shift to it, there’d be no backlash for that. So why go after lian for writing it???

Also, drawing comparisons to a horrific event like that is fucking disgusting. Like yes there is war in aethergarde, yes there is death and violence, but not FUCKING NATZIS?!?!

Have you heard of Dragontwin? It has a really great dragon customization system and I use it a lot to make visuals for dragons in my own drs, and a lot new features recently came out for it, so it seems like something you could use.
