Deciding if I want to get the "Lean" May 2021 Bespoke Post Box.
Yes: Two Turkey Sticks. Salt, Lactic Acid, Spices, Celery Powder, Garlic, Onion.
Yes: Two Beef Sticks. Salt, Lactic Acid, Spices, Celery Powder, Garlic, Onion.
Okay: Sesame Teriyaki Beef Jerky. Soy Sauce, Sugar, Sesame Oil, Ginger, Sesame Seeds, Garlic, Orange Peel, Onion, Cayenne Pepper. I'm not a huge fan of teriyaki, because I don't love the combination of sugary sweetness with meat.
Yes As A Gift For My Mom: Sriracha Honey Turkey Jerky. Soy Sauce, Brown Sugar, Sriracha Powder (Chili Peppers, Vinegar, Garlic, Sugar, Salt), Honey, Onion, Cayenne Pepper. Too spicy for me, but Mom would enjoy it.
Yes: Steakhouse Biltong. Beef, Garlic, Black Pepper, Vinegar. The company that makes this one (Brooklyn Biltong) doesn't list the complete ingredients on its website. Weird. Still sounds tasty.
Yes: Original Brooklyn Biltong. Salt and "a top-secret recipe created by CEO Ben van den Heever’s grandfather in Pretoria, South Africa."
Yes As A Gift For My Mom: Peri Peri Chili Biltong. Marinated with Garlic, Ginger, African Bird's Eye Chili Peppers. Too spicy for me, but Mom would enjoy it.
Yes As A Gift For My Mom: Thai One On Beef Jerky. Soy Sauce, Ginger, Fish Sauce, Garlic, Chili Pepper, Basil, Mint. The mint flavor doesn't sound good to me. The closest thing I've eaten to that was Vietnamese spring rolls containing mint, which I didn't like. But Mom loves Thai food, so she would enjoy it.
Okay: Jamaican Jerk Beef Jerky. Sugar, Salt, Garlic, Onion, Cayenne, Paprika, Black Pepper, Parsley, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cumin, Thyme. This sounds good if it is not too hot. If the cayenne is too much for me, Mom will enjoy it.
Okay: Breakfast In Bed Beef Jerky. Columbian Coffee, Black Pepper, Salt, Sugar. Intriguing! Coffee is wonderful. What does it taste like combined with beef?
Ate a delicious Epic Bison Bar while writing this post, because I got hungry thinking about all these meats.
