General idea for this AU:
The plot happens several years, if not decades, after Ramuel (Lamb) defeats The One Who Waits and indoctrinates him intro their cult. The universe of Cult of the Lamb is expanded, there are more types of crowns, more gods, more vessels, even the lands are bigger than in game. There are multiple major arcs happening in the story:
Bishops get back their crowns. Since they've changed because of Ramuel's influence, becoming deities again is harder than they expected, not to mention Shamura and Narinder are forced to take over different domains than those they're used to.
Sheep return to lands of Old Faith. At least that's what it seems like...
An outside faith has invaded the lands. New heretics are more aggressive and drive out remains of the Old Faith. They have strange weapons, use different kind of magic, and are a threat to everyone native to lands of Old Faith. This will force everyone to work together, no matter how dangerous such alliance seems to be. Both Old and New Faith have titled the attackers Outside Church.

She doesn't remember who she was before the Rot took over her mind. She doesn't remember what happened during that time either, the best she has are scraps of memories she made once she was already a part of the cult, just as a creature of Rot. In this form, she became friends with Valefar.
After several months, Kallamar finally healed her and she could begin a normal life, with Valefar by her side to help her learn how to function.

Story so far:
Youngest of the Last Five Bishops and the first to fall. Before the known from the game story, he was closest to Narinder and furthest from following his other siblings' leads; so much so that he ended up dating totally not by being blackmailed a Deacon, and another Deacon was his best drinking buddy. The life he was comfortable with started falling apart after Narinder's imprisonment and during sheepkind massacre.
Once in the Lamb's cult, Leshy was the quickest to adapt. Sure, his adaptation was equal to causing all kinds of trouble for the cult and becoming an enemy to many cultists, but he also became a great help on the farms and befriended a few chosen of Lamb's followers. Especially Osgar, a yellow cat that would stand by his side despite all the messes he'd make.
After joining Ramuel's cult, she took over the kitchen to help around and save Lamb's followers, who at that time were still unable to survive on their own. She kept the job for many years, met Poyel somewhere down the road as a rotten folk, their friendship grew into something more, and now she takes care of both the kitchen, and her family.
I finally made a "first draft" of what could the huts in my AU look like.
This one's the most basic, something that a freshly indoctrinated follower would be put in. Some followers stay in such huts forever, others eventually ask the Lamb for an improvement, whether it'd be a bigger hut (more fitting for a family), a shared hut (some people might choose it out of loneliness) or, if a follower have had a big enough positive impact on the cult (a diligent worker, a disciple, etc), they can ask for a cottage. (Cottages have their own kitchens and bathrooms, while huts only have sleeping and recreational areas)

All sheep have horns because it's an honor to Yngya, and those who don't have natural horns (typically females) will wear fake horns
Males have their tails docked to symbolize becoming of age to fight. It's an idea that tails cause issues on a battlefield, making it more difficult to fit armor and being an easy spot to grab and render the ram temporarily unable to fight.
Females don't have docked tails because it's believed to be connected to Yngya's fertility. If a female has her tail docked, she's considered unable to bear children (it fits the warriors, because a pregnant warrior is in danger on a battlefield, and pregnant women being in danger goes against Yngya's teaching).
I'm not in the mood to write coherent sentences, so if anything's unclear, sorry about that.
I made a wiki! I won't add the link to the pinned post until more stuff is taken care of, but already existing lore posts do have links to their respective articles.
I've decided to add Valefar as the second main character in the fanfic, which means the chapters will switch from Ramuel's POV to Valefar's POV and back. I've got... plans for Valefar and Poyel, to say the least 👀
That also means I'll be able to fuse my two Cotl fanfics into one with some minor adjustments, hehe.
Leshy is a difficult little sh to draw, so I'm afraid it'll take a while before the next character post.

Their rule is "I WILL give you a second chance, even if I have to force it down your throat". Interpret it however you want

Jobs are distributed based on people's past and talents, so everyone has something to do, although doing additional work is always welcomed by Ramuel

Something natural that shouldn't – can't – be played around with. They strictly follow rules Narinder gave them when they first learned the resurrection ritual.
They're not banned, but Ramuel doesn't use them themselves, since they have no effect on them
They're a bit jealous of the fact that Aym and Baal can mess with Narinder all they want and hardly ever get scolded, while Ramuel can breath the wrong way and Nari will send daggers their way

Also I feel like posts would get uncomfortably long if I was to post all the info about characters I have.
Unless you guys have a different proposition on how to make this blog more reader-friendly? I'll take any pointers I can get.

Ramuel's design will soon change as I have come up with something I like more. Once that happens, the blog's looks will change as well.
I will temporarily use screenshots from the game until a new avatar and new banner are drawn, but that won't happen until I'm done with Ramuel's new design.

Story so far:
Ramuel's family was the last one to survive the slaughter, although their luck didn't last for long. One by one, even they were hunted down, leaving Ramuel to fetch for themselves completely alone.
They were found by the Executioner eventually and led to their execution. With no reason to fight, Ramuel was numb to their fate, ready to die by the blade.
As their consciousness slowly drifted away, they were snatched by The One Who Wait. He offered them another life, a chance to avenge their family, in exchange for their eternal devotion. Despite not being exactly interested, Ramuel couldn't say no. And thus, they were revived and tasked with starting a cult.
Further story goes similarly to the game, with Ramuel eventually defeating The One Who Waits, becoming the God of Death, and bringing back the Bishops from Purgatory.
