{ Yuya }
“Won’t that be awhile though? I know the restoration team’s doing all they can to get the city back together like it was, but…”
Yuya trailed off, figuring now wasn’t the best time to finish that sentence. It seemed like there were hundreds of people working to put Heartland back together, those from the city and the neighboring dimensions themselves—but it’d still been a lot of damage. Was there ever going to be a time where Yuto was comfortable showing him his hometown like he’d been before?
“Anyway, it’s really too bad Maiami City doesn’t have an amusement park somewhere or I’d offer to take you there sometime. I could probably talk Yuzu into coming,” So Yuto could see Ruri sometime if he wanted, “Maybe we could do something else with them sometime instead?”
➤➤ Even though Yuya didn’t finished the sentence Yuto was rather well aware what he meant, but most likely didn’t dare to say. It would take a rather long time to get the city back to the shape it once had been and even if they would managed to reach that point some day... things never would be the same. But once in a while it was a nice thought to just ignore all of this. At least for a short amount of time. It was easier to pretend things were fine like this.
“It doesn’t have to be an amusement park. Let’s just go somewhere together and have fun. It sounds like a nice thing to do.”
